Not at all, the ultrawide is similar but the main camera isn't as good (when you use the 108MP mode on the Ultra) , telephoto is terrible (because it's not optical zoom) and so on.

Love your work. I've had my S21 for less than a week and loving it. I've come from a Note 9 and my first Galaxy S series since the S3. It's so compact and light yet only 0.2" shorter than the Note 9. No regrets.

It could also be due to some ppl buying another batch if s21s I got the first batch of s21s so maybe it isn't messed up for ppl who got the phone right when it came out
@@nisreenalhomsi3679 hi. No overheating issues. Had camera shutter lag but that got better with the May update. I have the Exynos version and the only thing I'm disappointed with is battery life. On full charge it predicted 15 hours. But it can be much less than that if I start watching videos or listening to music.
That flickering is caused by the refresh rate difference between your camera and the phone screen. It doesn't show that it's a low quality display, if the refresh rate is higher on S21, then it won't have that flicker obviously.
Completed 2 months with my s21. I m very happy with it. Awesome display both cameras battery processor speakers stylish violet colour 💜 And 6'2 handy size.
1:38 I must mention, i have the white FE with chrome bezels, and the screen looks more similar to the S21 in size. Dark is not good for looks on the FE. Mint and White is a solid color for them. Navy would be awesome with a polished edge.
I have the pink s21 and its beautiful. Glastic > glass any day for me. I don't have to worry about my phone dying on me anymore. Never used the 1440p display I had anyways.
Ngl. I have the s21 ultra and I was so conflicted between the ultra and the plus purely because of that flat display. Happy with my decision but really wish it was completely flat
I am Loving my S21. The flat screen, the camera area is beautiful, I love the way the back feels. I do not use a case. ever. The software is great. I honestly can't say enough good things about it. I have the iPhone 12, Pixel 5 and the S21. The S21 is my daily driver. (i do like iPhone cam better) Worth every penny if you ask me. Best Samsung phone I have ever owned.
how would you compare the S21 with Pixel 5? Debating between these 2 and was leaning more towards Pixel 5, but heard a bunch of people complaining about the poor speakers and terrible call quality which is why I'm leaning more towards the S21
@@along1298 Cell service is pretty good where I am. The speaker on the pixel isn't great, but it's not that bad to me. I am using the pixel this week a lot. the phone is really good IMO. it's not as fast as the S21. but I think the pixel runs super smooth. Honestly, you can't pick a wrong phone. They both are SO good. I like Samsung One UI, so switching between "clean" android and One UI isn't an issue for me. If you prefer pixel OS to Samsung, get the pixel. it's really great.
Nice work! I'm in the process of returning an s21 currently because i went grey market to try get a snapdragon variant and recieved a repackaged phone rather than a new one. When i sort it out, i'll likely just opt for buying an Australian model because it's the first galaxy phone since the s7 that ticks the most important boxes for me. Flat screen with flagship internals and camera to hopefully last the next 4 or 5 years like this s7.
Fantastic review! My S8 that I got near launch was finally nearing the end of it's life and decided to go with the S21. For just over 650$ I'm hoping its an absolute steal :)
I like mine, satisfied but not excited. I traded in a beautiful pearlescent S10E for the S21. I gave up a headphone jack, SD slot, and the nicest design/build of any phone I've ever had. I gained a marginally better camera, better screen? (maybe, the S10E screen was already great), a more convenient fingerprint sensor, and software updates extending out longer. I still hate the UI skin and all the Samsung crap lurking in the background (and occasionally interfering with operation), but that's a wash between the two Samsung phones. With the deals and discounts it was a sensible upgrade, but a little bittersweet.
I did the same and also have mixed feelings about the upgrade. S21 camera is better than s10e and i am seeing imoroved battery life. As for the samsung stuff running in the background, use adb to disable. Huge difference.
@@playstationtime78 it depends on how you use your phone. Do you shoot lots of high resolution videos and take lots of pictures? Have a large music library? If so...you might want then larger...if not, go with the smaller.
i have samsung phones many years and now i own the s21 and bought it mostly because i liked the videocamera on the previous models. I dont know what you have, but this is a huge disspointment. when there is a bright light outside, ok. but inside a little lower light, the picture lookes like galaxy s8. shaky, blury, not recognazible collors. I had to switch to film my youtube videos, to differnet phone - zenfone 7 pro.

The phone optimizes it's battery life according to the users usage patterns, hence it can only get better unless you end up intentionally trying to kill it. Also people start using the Battery Saver modes later on.
I hope I like it. I wanted to keep my s10 forever I'm in love with this phone. But after a year, I already have a slight screen burn in so I decided to upgrade my phone. I should've bought another s10 but the price of the S21 was very cheap

I use the plus, violet a beautiful design. The triple8 is extremely fast. The 120hz display, simply gorgeous. Do I miss the 1440p, nah? Better 🔋power makes much sense. One UI has so many features I get dizzy¿ The trade-in deals are off the map? Got the plus for 384.00 buck-a-roos, gave up my weak 🔋pixel4, no regrets! All in all a very solid effort!
This phone reminds me of the S10e I used to have. Now I'm using S20 FE 4G version and you are actually right. The display on S20 FE is not as good as the other Samsung Flagship phones. Even my S10e had better display than S20FE.
I can't really see how coming from an s10+ I would really want to upgrade to any new Samsung. I'm very into image editing and the decline in screen resolution is disappointing to me. A lot of people might claim they can't tell but I always can.
I can tell, but IMO, 1080p 120hz > 1440p 60hz. Plus, even if 1440p was an option, I’ll probably turn it down to 1080p cause it’s no where near as eye catching as it is on like a monitor and I value battery life and performance a bit more than pure resolution.
I switched from iPhone and got an s21 and I have nothing but good things to say about it. The display in particular is perhaps the best part about the phone. Another thing I like about it versus other android phones and this may annoy some people but that it's a very consistent phone. Versus some others I've tried like Motorola or LG there's no oddities to the software everything works consistently and it works well.
I’m thinking of switching too. Been with apple since 4S. I like smaller phones. S21 not small but manageable. Was it hard to switch from iOS to android. I’m so familiar with ios; calendar, notes, music, photos, etc.

My experiences with Samsung software with the more recent S10 5G is that, sure, they break a lot of stuff along the way, but at least the next month, most of the bugs are fixed. I can't really say the same for Apple and their iOS 11 experience I had back when I was using the iPhone 7. Hence why I switched to Samsung.
I've hated the switch to glass back ever since I went from my Galaxy S3 to S6, so this was a welcome return! It's a completely useless and wasteful component. Especially when you factor in 99% of people put on a case immediately after buying. Spend the money where it counts...software, hardware, function, and durability. For me, this is the perfect blend between my older S3 and S6, with one he'll of a camera.
I just cant believe they still use the plastic backside on the regular phones. I still use the s10e and even that got a glass backside! I love samsung phones, but thats just not okay for a 2021 smartphone. Even the smallest of the s21 series. And not including a charger saying we all got one already 😂 well most of us got a tv for over 1000$ but they still came with all the cables 😉
I hate plastic back because the heat is trapped inside, glass conduct heat better. The S21 keeps overheating, closing apps when it does. My previous S9+ didn't have this issue
"BOo hoo, only 4000mAh battery" that's what everybody says. What is "only" about it!? :D OP7T has 3800mAh and 7+ hours screen-on-time, standby seems fucking limitless. Samsung can't reach 5 and just absolutely buttfucks the battery on standby. In conclusion, it's not the battery size that matters, it's how it's optimized :D
The camera has like 95% the same exact picture as the s21 ultra, which makes it amazing 👏

I just cant believe they still use the plastic backside on the regular phones. I still use the s10e and even that got a glass backside! I love samsung phones, but thats just not okay for a 2021 smartphone. Even the smallest of the s21 series. And not including a charger saying we all got one already 😂 well most of us got a tv for over 1000$ but they still came with all the cables 😉

Lots of people don’t like plastic backs but as a young clumsy person I love it cuz there’s less to break
I hate plastic back because the heat is trapped inside, glass conduct heat better. The S21 keeps overheating, closing apps when it does. My previous S9+ didn't have this issue

OP7T has 3800mAh and 7+ hours screen-on-time, standby seems fucking limitless. Samsung can't reach 5 and just absolutely buttfucks the battery on standby.
In conclusion, it's not the battery size that matters, it's how it's optimized :D
