Keep it lawnmower I say put the 440 on it and perhaps play with gearing to transmission. Love the videos, these are things that all guys have wanted to do.
I think it’s great what you’re doing. I’m from Locust Fork Alabama. I do have a 71 Chevy 4x4 that the body has fallen off HaHa but you have given me an idea I have a gator 4x6 if I ran a centrifugal clutch to its transmission. I’m doing away with the belt drive. What size sprocket should I run on the transmission for just a good puller not concerned with speed. Thanks in advance and keep them coming.
Beef up the 670 internals, cam, carb 1 not 2, pocket port heads +stiffer valve springs, supercharger=Porsche 911 smog pump (from the 90's) intercooler=motorcycle radiator, fuel press. reg. with boost ref. for blow through set up. Tighten that, set that in place, spin that the other way and BAM! Show them how its done my dude!
Sound like you have it geared right for the road gear... just enough to let the clutch fully engage on the flats in high gear, so you don't burn it up 👍 Not sure that's quite low enough on 1st gear though. As the ol' timers would say "it wouldn't pull a greasy string out of cat's hind end". Might wanna find an old granny gear trans, or double drive it for a lower first. @@ChrisfromKeyfarm i get it --- it costs nothing to dream --- i forgot --- my idea would have no reverse --- i saw some dude on YT somewhere in the world made a small reverse box. Do you have an idea of how to put a small motor directly on a diff with 2 speeds and a reverse ?
