The SOAL! I did that back in April but lost reception and the trail at 8:40 in your video. Picked up a GPS so will tackle again when time/weather permits.
    Nice video!

Just curious what did gou pay? Here in Pennsylvania, people are asking a lot of $$$ for used dual sports.

elitetileandstone I paid $2,900. Might have overpaid a bit but for the condition and low mileage I decided to pull the trigger and grab it. Had Been wanting a dual sport for a long time so when it popped up on the market I had to grab this one! I live in Georgia btw

Thanks Yoda, those things really hold their value. I'm thinking of selling one of my street bikes, Versey 650, and getting a dual sport. I rode dirt bikes in my teens, but have been strictly on the road for 40 years.

Nice ride video! Reminds me why I so enjoy fall rides. I will be loading up the XT on the back of the motorhome and heading out for Arizona in a few weeks where the real fun begins!

I am so lucky that fall time does not end my riding season here in coastal BC. Lovely ride Jimmy, thanks for sharing it with us.

Sorry I didn't make it, gonna switch my bike up a bit this winter to do more of this!!A spring ride @ Wayne would be awsome!!

It was quite the adventure, Bronson, we'll have to get together and tell stories this winter. And it's great to hear you're going to switch the DRZ up for more dual sporting, it really is a blast. Spring can't get here fast enough!

Where exactly is this in Ohio ? New to off roading just got a coleman 200 mini bike and trying to plan a trail ride in Ohio. Where would you recommenced ? Im somewhat familiar w Wayne

Hi Joe, and congrats on the Coleman 200, I love those little bikes! This video was all done on public roads, believe it or not, so the Coleman wouldn't be eligible. Wayne is good and then also check out Pike State Forest at Sinking Spring, Ohio (between Cincinnati and Wayne in southern Ohio). That should be a great place for the mini bike. How do you like the Coleman?

@@jimmytmoto awesome thanks for the info. I love the 200 , first time owning a bike and just learned how to ride a dirt bike in the UP this year. I have stage 2 upgrades exhuast , intake , performance jet, gov override , 18 lbs valve spring w a 60 tooth sprocket. Been a ton of fun learning to work on it and ripping around !! Thanks

Hey Jim , I did buy that XT660R as I mentioned to you before but... I did buy a 2019 XT250 about 2 weeks ago... your dilemma is my dilemma also. I cannot quite decide which is better, comparing to my 2004 XT225. A singer sewing machine compared to a little thumper? I don’t know man...as I heard Jim say after his ride... I just don’t know. But I’m just very happy to be able to hold onto and enjoy both these beauties with the realisation that you just cannot put them up against one another. Enjoy the ride mate from a fellow yami 225 rider down under. Yeah that windshield is the way to go

Congrats on the new bikes, Grant! It sounds like you're having a lot of fun. Keep us posted on what you discover with them all. What are your thoughts on the XT660R so far? We didn't get the XT660R here in the states, unfortunately. :(

Hey man, do you have a video of how the bike sounds? Mine makes a kinda tick at higher rpms and I've been having the hardest time finding if its normal, some suggest its valves and others say its normal I dont know whats "excessive" and I cant find a video where they have the camera close to the motor so I can hear it. If you could link me to a vid where you can clearly hear the engine or make a video demonstrating it I would be EXTREMELY grateful. I liked and subbed too.
