Sorry but very true. southern Chinese food, quang dong or Taiwan, Cantongese food are the best food in the world. Northern China food can not compete at all. This is all food experts' experiences. I was so upset and disappointed when i went to Beijing and tasted northern Chinese food. way too salty and not much spices. Maybe coz weather is too cold there. SO people tend to eat very salty and do not know how to use lots variety of chinese spices there.

作为北方人，我不爱甜食，所以烧腊和叉烧对我的吸引力不大。但讲到传承，依然是看得热泪盈眶。
也是北方人，不过莫名喜欢上了叉烧:D

我朋友是北方人 來了香港後 他每次跟我飲酒 都要食燒肉 而燒肉 很好多部份 風味都不同
而每間店味道都不同 有時候同一間店味道都不同 有分冷藏豬肉 新鮮豬肉 全豬 燒出來都不同味道
我感觉央视的纪录片真的是越来越有水平了。看的超饿

其实港澳吃得都很油，而且是糕饼店常客，还吃很多的“糖水”，各种粉、粥…饮食里碳水很高，却很少肥胖，奇观！
其实那不是日常。日常还是很清淡的，碳水种类多，但每日摄入的总量并不多，比起北方人的面食食量，真的是少多了
