    Hello and great video!
    I have a 2019 red alltrack and I LOVE it!
    It's perfect for our Canadian winter and camping trip!
    I find it very interesting that you can change all these settings, I'll have to take a deep look into this :) keep up the good work

      Thank you man! I love my car as well. I certainly have more videos planned with it; thanks for the support! And if you have any questions about coding/OBDeleven, I can definitely try to help. :)

    Very helpful! Thank you. Could you share the LED’s that you selected for the fogs and rears?

      They are Sylvanias from Oreillys or Advance. Their website can confirm the exact fit part numbers, I honestly don't remember now haha.

    Just wondering if you knew if it’s possible to put a maps app on a 2017 VW Alltrack S that doesn’t have a map app preloaded via the OBDeleven?

  • @darylfogel583
    @darylfogel583 2 года назад

    Just saw this. Recently got a 2017 Alltrack S model. Was wondering if you can add the map function with this device. Like I said looking into it.

    Not sure if you will get see this or not since its over a year old, but is that ignition button on your shift console aftermarket or stock? I have a 2017 alltrack also and I do not have that. I miss pushbutton start. I had a 2016 chevy cruze and it was push button and remote start and I really do miss those. The Cruze was a cheaper vehicle and the VW Alltrack was a more luxurious vehicle but as far as convenience I find my Cruze had more stuff which kind of disappoints me.

    • @AlsoAndrew

      It is factory. What trim level is yours? Mine was an SEL

    • @alphadragongamingFTW
      @alphadragongamingFTW 2 года назад

      @@AlsoAndrew that might be the reason why. Mine was SE. I had no idea that the SEL came with remote and push button. I went with SE because I didn't care much about the sun roof and the extra 1k that it was. lol Had I known, I probably would have gone with the SEL. However, The other big reason is the SEL trim that I had seen were white and Red. My SE was black and I was really looking for black because I wanted to to have matching Black rims as well.

      @@alphadragongamingFTW No remote start on any of them. Germans aren’t big on that in general. I have it on my truck now too and it’s great lol

    Hey, great video. Quick question. Did you know of the OBD supported the ‘joker tail light’ where the blinkers alternates on the til lights? It’s what I have in my current GTI and am looking to switch to an AT here soon. Thanks!

    • @AlsoAndrew
      @AlsoAndrew  2 года назад

      I did see the option for it although I never verified the functionality. Best of luck with the trade!

    Great video! I've also got a 2017 Alltrack with the DAP like yours. Do you know if it's possible to turn on the smaller of the two DRLs on each headlight? That way it would look more or less like the Golf R headlights.

    • @AlsoAndrew
      @AlsoAndrew  3 года назад

      I could be wrong, but I don’t believe there’s actually a light there, I think it just looks like a light. The little dot in the center lights up when you turn the headlights on but I’ve never seen a GTI/Alltrack with the inner U piece illuminated

    • @harryberry474
      @harryberry474 6 месяцев назад

      @@AlsoAndrew ...Correct that's how my 2017 Alltrack SEL is too. I like the fact it's different having the inner one just a dot. I changed out my fog lights to Phillips LED's They're not any brighter but a pretty close match to the HID headlight.

    The fact that you need to expend credits to individually execute the on-board routines is ... screwed up. That's like if you downloaded an overclocking utility for your computer, and you had to pay a small amount of money each time you used it to configure your hardware. Downright shady. It should be that you pay for the app up front, and then it's yours to execute on-board routines on your car as long as you see fit.

    • @robertweiser184

      Ya CAN code ... Just the easy one step apps " need " credits

    • @harryberry474
      @harryberry474 6 месяцев назад

      You can long code without credits. The issue I have with their credits is every time you use app to change something back to stock, you have to use credits

    I miss my Alltrack... I trade it with Altas... FYI with euro taillights you can remove the red lens and it will be clear lens, then just buy a amber led lights ...
