To situate those who may not yet be aware, Me and That Man is the solo project of Adam Nergal Darsk, running parallel to his role as frontman of Polish black/death band Behemoth. With the presentations made, let's say that the adventure that began five years ago is still in good shape, moving away from the extreme sounds of its mother band to offer a repertoire of dark folk and gothic country for all audiences. A diversion without excessive pretensions, third installment and continuation of a Vol.1 from which it barely differs. As in that one, Nergal once again recruits metal friends of all stripes to participate in the invention, from Gary Holt (Slayer, Exodus), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy) or Mary Goore (one of the many aliases of Tobias Forge, the Pope of Ghost) to Randy Blythe (Lamb Of God), Chris Holmes (W.A.S.P.) Devin Townsend or Hank von Hell himself, who unfortunately signs on "Black Hearse Cadillac", the song that starts the album, which was possibly their last collaboration.
@@gabrieldrumond99Does Argentina have similar problems with the Katoliban? You know, blasphemy laws, free money for churches at our expense, catechism in schools...
I saw Me and That Man in Gdańsk back in 2021. The sound seemed much better there than this recording. I think part of that has to do with John Porter being at the Gdańsk show as he covers a lot of Nergal's vocal weaknesses.
