Good morning from Australia Nice to see someone that’s willing to learn and great work for sure Everyone had to start somewhere and your work is showing that you have talent 👍👍👍👍
Dam nice job on the frame work! That Challenger will be prowling the streets again pretty soon! Thanks for all the great content & video! Already looking forward to the next video!
hi, can you show how you are actually using the measuring system, where is your datum point of reference, for interest , IE, length, breadth, &height, , cheers.
Nice job guys, I have a few pointers for you; when pulling that hard sideways on both front rails I would anchor the car, so it doesn't twist as much, either with a chain binder down to the rack, probably with a jack underneath, or with a chain on a tower, it looks like you pilot drill all the way thru both layers of sheet metal, that makes the welding job much harder, I like the spot weld cutter you use, but I like the flat ended spot weld drill bits even better, they look like a end mill, but they have a small centering point in the middle, finally, I always put a reinforcement strip behind single layer weld seams in STRUCTURAL applications. Thank you for taking the time to film some of your work.
can i ask of a favor. i have frame damage and insurance is trying to total my new car out :( just wondering if i can get in contact to send pictures to see if its fixable and if i should buy it bback from insurance. thanks
Spray some rust inhibiting spray inside that frame rail so it doesn't rot from the inside out , should be done on all cavities that are going to be welded together.
I like the stuff your working on, but you said one thing that really …."We are just learning on how to weld." Where I'm from you learn and practice before doing this type of work. A bit un nerving. Please tell me you have a someone inspecting your work before its out the door. Its looks like you just opened the shop? I do like the work though.. Not trying to rain down on you.
Doing that frame rail in one piece is the best way to do it,car is coming along real good. Thanks for sharing.........

Do u have measurements for the frame rails?

jesper dahl thank you for the ideas/pointer! Much appreciated!!
Weld through primer helps a lot plus keeps rust from the inside of the rails.
H&P Customs yes we sprayed primer on the inside of the rail. Thought we had it filmed guess we missed it.
nice job

A lazier level from Home Depot or Harbour Freight to shoot across the front rails helps speed you up on pulls
John McCallum we’ll have to try that. Thanks!
How much is it to fix something like this?
What program are you guys using to get your frame measurements
arcustomsllc Mitchell
Much can cost ?

We’ll ask the guys at the autobody store. Thanks
This will never stick to the bare metal so good like factory paint, but better something than nothing.
