Weddings.....for the groom it’s just a funeral with cake.
Enjoying these little nostalgic trips back to my childhood though...👍

Gosh. The theme music almost makes me tear up. Pulls me right back to that time... The good times with friends, the sense of fun and adventure as a kid, and the feeling of hopelessness and limited horizons as a young adult entering the working world trying to establish a life in Thatchers utopia.

Thanks for uploading all three series i was just coming up eleven years when the first series started and 13 and 3/4 when the last episode of the final series three finished. I grew up watching Grange Hill from nearly six years old to about 16 years old in 1988. Those were the best years of Grange Hill and this spin off series Tuckers Luck from 1988 i was working but being the oldest and only boy with four younger sisters i still watched a few episodes of Grange Hill but it just didn't seem the same to me in my opinion..

Watched first 2 series at the time and thought they weren't bad. However, can barely remember 3rd one being on. Think it had probably run its course by then, still interesting to watch nowadays though from nostalgia point of view

The Majestic Grill next door to the Clarendon pub on Hammersmith Broadway in the opening credits, obviously filmed on a wet Tuesday in March.

Very slow and plodding story lines in series 3. It was a1 1/2 year gap from series 2-3 of tuckers luck and it had pretty much run its course by the end of series 2. Interesting to watch all the same. I'm pretty sure that the inside scenes from the reception were filmed in the Clarendon pub on Hammersmith broadway. Now demolished.

Zelda Fitzgerald, I feel I must protest...Series 3 is something of a masterpiece. Tucker plays the role of teenage idiot - savant with considerable aplomb.

Fair call, the break might have meant the momentum of the first two series was lost somewhat, by modern standards this doesn’t measure up as drama very well, but as a slice of life of 80s working class youth it’s not too bad, conservative but does it’s job ok

what with watching this, and then checking out the credits, and checking wikipedia and imdb, i`ve just found out that john leeson played the photo guy, since he played k9s voice in doctor who, should he be at least on all fours, watching these you do have to wonder who`s going to turn up next.

already i`m slightly worried for this series, instead of it getting right away into the tucker jenkins and his mates show that we`re come to love, we have some daft wedding to look forward to, and i really think that natalia may be a bit posh for tucker, i really can`t see that going well, tucker would be better off with the likes of jackie, and since when has tucker had a little sister, she` been so well hidden we never new anything about her, and as for tuckers dad we`re never seen him anyway, and not sure whats worse, tucker having a younger sister who came along so late that we`re only just met her, and so far she only seems to be in this to get upset and to cry all the time, or having a older brother like tucker, who will probably never understand you, and will possibly scraper the moment you really need him, and weddings, when your rather die than go to yet another one, and let alone whats with this one, is it one marriage and one divorce or what.

Delilah - excellent choice for first dance at a wedding😆 (Check out the lyrics).
Birdie Dance - the ignominious end of Legs & Co on Top Of The Pops😢

If Tucker’s sister is 8 here, that means she was born not long before his first year at Grange Hill. A brother was mentioned in GH but a sister didn’t exist until this episode.

This happened in 1985. It is the final series happens to be series 3. Mrs Jenkins is on the telephone 📞 talking to someone. Tucker Jenkins is dressed up 🆙 for the wedding 💒. It is a sunny ☀️ day at church ⛪️. Everyone are having a photo taken to smile 😃. It is an old W reg 1980 or 1981 Ford Escort. Aged 4 years old. It was new. Not anymore in 2023. Everyone are clapping their hands 🙌🏽. Most people are dancing 💃💃💃🕺🕺 🕺. Tucker Jenkins is the little girl. Mrs Jenkins cries 😢.

Series 3 was a stretch too far for TL. Lame story lines and a bad selection of supporting actors. I watched it at the time, but much preferred series 1&2.
