My 9 year old son is home schooled in an American syllabus and was having a tough time trying to finish his class assignment on this topic. I checked a lot of videos but non gave us the information we needed. After watching your video it helped him to get a full understanding and he got a 20/20 on his assignment yesterday, Thanks again and keep up the good work.
Nice explanation thanks for your efforts. Take note that starting at 3:45 you point to the bracket holding the imaginary axis (metal rod) and call the backet the axis, this is done several times. A child might began to think the axis is this flange device that cups the globe.
POV: Your a fourth grader who for some reason gets harder work then the high schoolers in your area for science, your teacher gave you this activity to do on your own but you don't have an inflatable globe, so she gave you this video to watch then answer questions. (that's a long ass POV ;-;)
Explain why there's not 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of night every day of the year for the majority of the worlds population, considering the globe is half illuminated at all times and spinning at the same rate of speed year round?
Winter. The tilt has a fatal flaw, because take the winter solstice for example, you are rotating out of darkness and you are ASCENDING into light, just think about that for a moment, at 12 noon you will be at the highest point and the sun will appear to be at the horizon just like at sunset!
