I maintain that subclass 3.0 and the armor mods being simplified/stripped down did immense amounts of damage to Destiny's sandbox. Charged With Light and Font mods made the game interesting and was *actual* buildcrafting. "Builds" right now are three surges and an exotic, nothing terribly interesting about them. I also *miss* the subclass diamonds; felt like they could do more novel things because they had trade-offs (Inertia override, Flawless Executioner, Handheld Supernova, Icarus Dash, etc). Now people equip all the same items because there's no downside to it. On the other hand, I am in a love-hate relationship with the special ammo changes; I quite enjoy that I'm not getting mapped by fusions or getting sniped constantly, but it definitely slowed the game to a crawl in many lobbies. I kind of... miss it now? Yeah, people did goofy things to me with a special weapon, but I had equal access and opportunity to use those tools against them. I wish we knew about (and were grateful for) what we had back then.
my gosh dude, you really did hit some shit never to be done again, rip the good ol days, shout out to the exile rc days eprc2018, great video doofa, and side note, i fkn miss og qd snap
it really sucks ass how much theyve killed snipers with the flinch, its to the point where half of the time its completely random if you land a shot or not in my experience at least.
usually i use this perspective: if I can play very well during all this shit, who knows how strong I would have been 3/4 years ago... probably a streamer lol
guardian rank system is definitely one of the reasons that the game has died so drastically. most paragons are C tier skill and dont even know advanced strats or mechanics. i have been a paragon, and can easily contrast that i have seen more skill in rank 5's and 6's than rank 11. so many rank 11's have no idea what they're doing in the grand scheme of advanced strategies
Thanks for sharing this video, I can't tell you how nice it was to watch this! I honestly haven't played Destiny for years now, and I miss it truly, so it was nice going through memory lane. Thank you!

Preach brother
"when pvp was actually fun" and it's just him sniping for 10 minutes.
With aim assist with what seems to be xim or something
Nighstalker sniper. Bro WAS the cancer
@@RamenxXxNoodles i found it easier to snipe back then and the abilities like keen scout (trusight) did make it easier to learn and improve
I wish last word went back to what it used to be when that buff happened.
I approve of this video, very nostalgic
Before airborn effectiveness and the special ammo changes
shheeeshhh

the ending reaction is class but nothing will beat mine

When rapid fire snipers were actually useful

Started great, but then got insanely boring. Good video? I guess?
Skill base matchmaking actually makes the game worse.
Wait d2 pvp was good?
the only thing that really changed was the special economy
And the abilities, the entire sandbox, etc
20% increase in hp and a 30% damage increase to 340 pulse rifles 🤢🤮🗑️
Prismatic hunter pulse meta. That's what happened.
