It reminds me of our parents/grand parents left their land holdings/shops and multi storeyed houses in Bahawalpur (now Pakistan). They thought that they would come back after some time when the situation improves which never happened. We have now lost our parents/grand parents but we still wish to visit and see their place of living/work. This does not appears to be possible now. Still we are hopeful for better relations between both the countries.

My Grandfather (Dadaji) is from ShahJeevna (Dist Jhang) and Grandmother( Daadi) probably from Chenab. My maternal grandparents also came from Areas of Sargodha, Chenab and jhang. And one great Grandfather had just completed his two storey Big House in Diglispura. Plaster work was under construction then. And suddenly he was asked to leave to their lives. It's sad that our Forefathers and mothers has suffered a lot. My Grandmother's father was a doctor and has served refugee camps. My grandmother along with his brother at very age of around 7-10, reached india with group of relatives and were afraid of their parents. Luckily families reunited after 3 months. It was very painful, my Grandma and Grandpa told me and I see pain in their eyes and voice when they talk about the partition.

She was very anxious to go back and see her house, her fields, her friends, but sorry her wish was not fulfilled. She died last year 😢😢😢😢😢😢my grandmother had more painful stories🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 her brother and father were burnt alive, her bhabhi and she survived the attack and reached India, but she never forget her brother's cries, burning alive 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭It's very painful for both sides that we were divided in this manner. I want to see Undivided India in my life. If east and west Germany can be United after 70 years of partition, why can't India? 🙏🙏
While looking at these old and broken buildings, one feels sad for those Hindu grandfathers and grandmums, who left their properties during partition and migrated. The buildings are looking like speaking and explaining the atrocities done on local people, even after around 75 years now. Those who migrated from India to Pakistan, even they had to suffer a lot of loss. Human loss and property loss, all kinds of losses resulted due to riots and inhumanity on both parts of lands. It is perhaps the saddest part of our entire Indian history where lakhs of hindus and muslims were rioted, looted, killed, raped.... It wasn't a country's partition, it was simply the rape of humanity. I have heard some stories from people like beejis, jhai jees of that era, who lost their beloveds, body parts, entire properties and were forcefully migrated by rioters. All such videos, pictures, narrations by the elders leave us speechless actually as we can never understand the pain they went through those days. May God bless all and may peace be there on each and everyone's life.

It reminds me of our parents/grand parents left their land holdings/shops and multi storeyed houses in Bahawalpur (now Pakistan). They thought that they would come back after some time when the situation improves which never happened. We have now lost our parents/grand parents but we still wish to visit and see their place of living/work. This does not appears to be possible now. Still we are hopeful for better relations between both the countries.

My Grandfather (Dadaji) is from ShahJeevna (Dist Jhang) and Grandmother( Daadi) probably from Chenab. My maternal grandparents also came from Areas of Sargodha, Chenab and jhang. And one great Grandfather had just completed his two storey Big House in Diglispura. Plaster work was under construction then. And suddenly he was asked to leave to their lives. It's sad that our Forefathers and mothers has suffered a lot. My Grandmother's father was a doctor and has served refugee camps. My grandmother along with his brother at very age of around 7-10, reached india with group of relatives and were afraid of their parents. Luckily families reunited after 3 months. It was very painful, my Grandma and Grandpa told me and I see pain in their eyes and voice when they talk about the partition.

This is Om, holy sign of hindus. This represents Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh, all three gods, creator, provider and destroyer. According to sanatan dharm everything sound is born out of Om 🙏🙏The partition was very painful. Since I was a child, I heard very painful stories of leaving their birth place, Rawalpindi, their house, their temple, their Devisthan at new house, how they were suddenly forced to leave their house, leaving everything behind, they were hungry, cold and penniless ☹️🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺some were killed mercilessly with knives and axes, some were shot, some children were left behind as they could not walk and their mothers couldn't carry them for long 😢😢😢😢😢😢for months they had to live in tents or in open in camps, stay without food, without light, without bed, had to beg, new borns died due to cold 😢😢😢😢and many more painful stories 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺she remembered each and every moment of her life there. She was very anxious to go back and see her house, her fields, her friends, but sorry her wish was not fulfilled. She died last year 😢😢😢😢😢😢my grandmother had more painful stories🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 her brother and father were burnt alive, her bhabhi and she survived the attack and reached India, but she never forget her brother's cries, burning alive 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭It's very painful for both sides that we were divided in this manner. I want to see Undivided India in my life. If east and west Germany can be United after 70 years of partition, why can't India? 🙏🙏

While looking at these old and broken buildings, one feels sad for those Hindu grandfathers and grandmums, who left their properties during partition and migrated. The buildings are looking like speaking and explaining the atrocities done on local people, even after around 75 years now. Those who migrated from India to Pakistan, even they had to suffer a lot of loss. Human loss and property loss, all kinds of losses resulted due to riots and inhumanity on both parts of lands. It is perhaps the saddest part of our entire Indian history where lakhs of hindus and muslims were rioted, looted, killed, raped.... It wasn't a country's partition, it was simply the rape of humanity. I have heard some stories from people like beejis, jhai jees of that era, who lost their beloveds, body parts, entire properties and were forcefully migrated by rioters. All such videos, pictures, narrations by the elders leave us speechless actually as we can never understand the pain they went through those days. May God bless all and may peace be there on each and everyone's life.

Nothing in india has been demolished except babri mosque which was built on the remains of a temple ( proven by archaeology- and only then ordered by supreme court of india to demolish ) Look at north of India , all that exists are islamic remains as though nothing existed prior to arrival of islam in india. ( all kept intact because they are part of our history irrespective of the reasons they were built ).
Also remember india and hinduism have a longer history than islam...which is like a child in front of them. Sufism teaches sanatan dharma ....for obvious reasons.
