I'll definitely put focus on that moving forward. Is the purpose of not stepping your lead foot off the center line to make the drill consistent? I thought stepping the lead foot out to the side was a good habit and helped to open the hips and get your back leg in a closer / better position to fire the kick rather than having to swing around all the way from the back?
