Nice video! Also, the audio quality wasn't bad in my opinion. Was wondering just why did you create that mask for the background, wouldn't be the same just with the normal full image.
I love this tutorial Pankjah. I posted the link and an example image I created in our FB group as many can learn from this easy to understand and follow tutorial.
layers are created to retains information on an image, GIMP uses destructive image manipulation unlike photoshop... So when you make a change to an image it is permanent in the GIMP file. Retained layers can be reused again later if you want to re-edit.

If you create the mask you can change the colours etc only for content behind the woman image....
