Wemby will probably be the starting Four (Victor does not like playing Center). No way the Spurs will contend this year, but they should be MUCH better than last year. I'll be very happy if they can win half of their games. They have talent, depth, and versatility, with so many players who can play multiple positions, but it will take them a season or two to get experienced enough to really be in the hunt. Also, we don't know yet if the front office is finished dealing for the eventual starters for the next 5 to 8 years. Pop likes to get his core and stick with them so they can grow together, but we don't know if that permanent starting point guard is on the roster yet.
Wemby is too skinny to be a Center. Let him put a couple pounds of muscle before you stick him in the middle. TD started as a 4, then went to 5 once Robinson retired and then went back to 4 later on in his career.
Don’t forget about Charles Bassey and Sidy Cissoko. They both are really good on defense and Bassey is an above average pick and pop guy who’s a good defender too! He slowed down Joker when Collins got ejected
I like your starting 5 but the bench we need to trade Osman Graham to release Birch trade Bullock and Doug McBuckets. Dom Barlow needs to Cisocko to play Champanie needs to play and Rice to play. Blake isn't fully ready yet. But I like your take on the team. Hope the hornets are good also.
My favorite skill of Tre is his ability to beat the defender to the spot and using his body as a shield when he is finishing. This is something that not all young small guards do. Most of them rely on athleticism.
He's not getting traded he just got resigned. He is also crucial in helping wemby develop because tre jones and run pick and roll. I don't think he's going to be the point guard of the future but he's just temporary.
What's the difference between Victor Wembenyama & Bol Bol? They're the same height & have the same skill sets, yet they think Weby is gonna be great & Bol Bol is damn near out of the league.

Make a run? The West is loaded and they have potential talent. Most of those stats from last year don't mean a thing.

Jones is a smart Duke point guard. He's got poise, smarts and can run the offense. I loved watching him at Duke.
