@SnuffTheRooster to me that's more of a kink. ASMR is different & forced whispering is also annoying. IMHO, the most genuine ASMR is natural, unforced & organic. I remember many years ago when certain telemarketers would call & some of them had it. The ability to speak in a manner that triggered me instantly. THEY I would listen to, the others I politely hung up on. I never bought anything, but I knew enough to realize the time they kept someone on the line meant something to their managers, so it was a sort of tip. 😊

Same, but I was blown away, muuuch better than what I was expecting, which was someone who sounded snooty and elitist and patronizing and instead we get someone who is firstly very relaxed and gentle, secondly like he's just going about his business in a verry routine and calm manner like he does every single day, nothing new here, and thirdly very slow and meticulous as if all the details count and he's looking with a hawk eye at everything, not missing anything. It's absolutely perfect, not just for asmr, but if I were to actually take some items in for appraisal and the man sounded like this, I can honestly say I would trust him a lot more LOL!

I hate forced ASMR. It's so unnatural. I have no desire to "relax" to the sound of slurping and slopping. It's uncomfortable 😂
