I discovered Latte about 3 months ago and saw almost all the videos. I found out that nobody else in the ASMR-scene is as perfect as this girl. Just great.
I believe the sounds are all recorded from multiple angles, but from filming to editing, the thoughts she puts into this, and probably the acoustic treatment she puts in her room are just unparalleled.

It wasn't too long ago she had 500k, with steady growth. She has slowed down her pace recently, with more patience for herself, only once every couple of weeks. It's less stressful for her, but I guess that means slower promotion on YT also. Oh well. 🤷♂️ I'm just glad she's taking care of herself and not over-stressing. My closest friend in life I met freshmen year of college, a South Korean international student who I thought I’d not get close to because she was looked as gorgeous as a model and I felt very homely, haha. I couldn’t have been more wrong, we became thick as thieves and I wouldn’t trade meeting her for anything. One thing she did was teach me aaaaall she knew about skincare and would constantly be sharing her top quality and researched skin care products (often Korean as this is one of their specialties). All this to say, that this skin care video makes me remember so many happy and warm memories of my best friend and miss her tremendously. I love how high quality her videos are but, that is not what I personally like. Whispering and low talking are my number one sounds. I like ear blowing and that's about it. Most other sounds either just don't do anything for me or annoy me so bad and gross me out like mouth sounds. I can't listen to those. Latte's talking mouth sounds don't bother me anymore but they used to. I think it's cause they feel natural or just plain ignorable but videos with constant repeating noises I can't listen to, especially if they're mouth sounds. Tldr; Latte makes the exact type of video to suit my needs and I can't sleep without her videos. I watch her videos over and over until she uploads a new one 😂
@@EdwardoLover totally agree on listening to the same sounds over and over. That becomes annoying and not relaxing at all to me. One of my favorite things that Latte does that most others don't is randomly alternating between soft whispering and low talking. It's such a huge trigger for me. And I love her detailed set ups - something about gentle every day sounds gets me big time. She's such a freaking genius, I swear 😁💕

If it sounds natural and like something we could actually hear in our daily lives, it gives .more comfort or anything like that. Plus, her personality and demeanor feel like it's actually her and how she is.

I for one hate my skin/face. Acne is a common issue for me and it always makes me less confident. But when Latte said, “Our skin isn’t perfect, no ones skin is perfect.” I truly felt that. Bread Fish - definitely and she doesn’t have any in the middle where it’s startling. I had to u follow an ASMRtist because they had 3 + ads in the middle of the video, which would pull me out of my euphoric, lucid state and give me anxiety. At that point you don’t care about the SSMR anymore, you care about monetizing.
I’m actually glad she puts ads at the beginning! I get two of them, and for any other youtuber it would be annoying. But I feel comforted in knowing that I’m supporting Latte by watching them, because I can’t subscribe to her patreon. She’s so thoughtful to not have them in the middle :)

Latte- I'm a visual journalist and your camera composition, sequences, and natural sound hits are on par with many of the pros I work with. Visually beautiful work, and very relaxing...I can only imagine how long it took to edit. Thank you for your hard work! If your camera has a manual focus function, you might want to experiment with that and you can play with the depth of field/aperture. My closest friend in life I met freshmen year of college, a South Korean international student who I thought I’d not get close to because she was looked as gorgeous as a model and I felt very homely, haha. I couldn’t have been more wrong, we became thick as thieves and I wouldn’t trade meeting her for anything. One thing she did was teach me aaaaall she knew about skincare and would constantly be sharing her top quality and researched skin care products (often Korean as this is one of their specialties).

I love how high quality her videos are but, that is not what I personally like. Whispering and low talking are my number one sounds. I like ear blowing and that's about it. Most other sounds either just don't do anything for me or annoy me so bad and gross me out like mouth sounds. I can't listen to those. Latte's talking mouth sounds don't bother me anymore but they used to. I think it's cause they feel natural or just plain ignorable but videos with constant repeating noises I can't listen to, especially if they're mouth sounds.
Tldr; Latte makes the exact type of video to suit my needs and I can't sleep without her videos. I watch her videos over and over until she uploads a new one 😂

One of my favorite things that Latte does that most others don't is randomly alternating between soft whispering and low talking. It's such a huge trigger for me. And I love her detailed set ups - something about gentle every day sounds gets me big time. She's such a freaking genius, I swear 😁💕

If it sounds natural and like something we could actually hear in our daily lives, it gives .more comfort or anything like that. I for one hate my skin/face. Acne is a common issue for me and it always makes me less confident. But when Latte said, “Our skin isn’t perfect, no ones skin is perfect.” I truly felt that. I haven´t had pretty skin since I was 10 years old. I cannot even remember what that feels like. I struggle with that a lot, so I really really hear you. Latte’s videos have more ads now (in the beginning) but I’m not even mad because she deserves to make money
Bread Fish - definitely and she doesn’t have any in the middle where it’s startling. I had to u follow an ASMRtist because they had 3 + ads in the middle of the video, which would pull me out of my euphoric, lucid state and give me anxiety. At that point you don’t care about the SSMR anymore, you care about monetizing.
I’m actually glad she puts ads at the beginning! I get two of them, and for any other youtuber it would be annoying. But I feel comforted in knowing that I’m supporting Latte by watching them, because I can’t subscribe to her patreon. She’s so thoughtful to not have them in the middle :)

Latte- I'm a visual journalist and your camera composition, sequences, and natural sound hits are on par with many of the pros I work with. Visually beautiful work, and very relaxing...I can only imagine how long it took to edit. Thank you for your hard work!
If your camera has a manual focus function, you might want to experiment with that and you can play with the depth of field/aperture. (FWIW the out-of-focus gave me the feeling of my eyes getting sleepy, which I thought was cool)
