Instead of that wooden block to hold your lumber, more useful would be a “stand” block for long lumbers to be perfectly level to have perfect vertical cuts or perfect angle cuts.
I would think that it's a little bit complicated to get the extensions perfectly parallel to your saw top and all directions and in height otherwise your Cuts may be somewhat off angle.
@@nasanerd4321 Yes, of course. It depends on size of the scrap piece. And also volume (quantity). I did NOT run a shop for commercial purposes. So I did Not produce a steady daily stream of waste. No. My miter saw cannot play country music. But I love the setup!
Excellent space saving design. I’ve learned over the years the more mobile setups you have in the shop the better. 👍
Thanks and I agree!
I don't even have a mitre saw yet but when I do... I wanna build this when I grow up!
Cute and compact love it 😊
Thank you!
U should add some measurements on the stopper piece
Love this!!! Where did you get the folding brackets for the sides??
Love love love ! ❤
Beautiful
Thank you!
Sweet!
Mine will...I will build one😊
Thanks!
I think i build someone too. It looks great. And i havent not much space
Super super genial
I've just started reviewing my miter saw station. It looks similar to yours but I will now modify it to be exactly like yours.
Great!
I like the work station I would like to build something like that!
Here are the plans if you’re interested! www.etsy.com/listing/1352981591/miter-saw-station-plans-written-and

Actually yes, mine is near identical but also flips for access to my table top jointer
Awesome!
It will now
Nice!
Missing drawer slides and a dust extractor. Also a bit too low...but looks like a cool build
💯
Is there any flex in the sides with folding brackets? If so does it affect the accuracy of the cut?
What are those hinges called?
굿 따봉

Thanks!
Love it. What collapsible brackets did you end up using? I bought some from Amazon that i was disappointed with.
I got these in 16”. amzn.to/43MRdWF

It wasn’t too bad actually. Check out my full length video on me building this miter station.

Don't throw off-fall in the trash. Save it for other creative uses.
I agree within reason but that gets out of control real fast

DON’T put castors on your base! If your shop isn’t perfectly level, the lock won’t work and your table will move around
So use a design with 3 wheels to ensure that they're always in contact with the floor regardless of if it is uneven.
If you lock multiple wheels it will be fine. The red ones at Home Depot are better to because the lock keeps them from rotating.
Jealous
Where's the video on the Miter Saw Staton on RUclips? This doesn't work, ruclips.net/video/OKS9mELOTIE/видео.html
Look for the video titled “HUGE improvement to my miter saw station.”
