If you're running cat the milk token is usually better than the cat token. if your'e running a level 1 milk tower behind a cat you get +1 stats from the cat token, so your cat gets +2/3 per round. If you're running 2 milk towers behind the cat you get +4/6 stats. However if your cat is level 1 you get +1/2 stats from the cat tower and from the milk token alone, having a mIlk tower gives +2/4. As the cat tower levels up the extra milk token is much better.
The cat token is for building attack stats on non cat builds. Of course if you have the choice of adding milk and cat token to cats that works. However you can only have one specific type of token on a tower, so no doubling up on milk tokens.
