My roundup for the week ($80 in face nickels, $120 face in quarters)- one 2009, one 2024 D, one 1924 P Buffalo (readable!), one 1945 P wartime, a couple 2024 quarters no varieties,, and one 1979 D CUD at 7:00 on the reverse that is as of now not attributed anywhere.
Pretty cool round up .. I guess I'll tackle a box of nickels next. We're moving stuff around my office waiting on the window man to replace the window. I want to knock out this $50 bag of pennies with the sorter (I'm expecting it to be as bad as the last one) but not sure I want to get all that set up before the window man comes
@TwoshedsGabby nickels have been my go to, I treat everything else like everyone else treats my nickels 🤣 Do you have any ideas where I could find a listing for that 79? It's not on Cudsoncoins...
An excellent Top 5 reasons to hoard Copper pennies. Hopefully the simple and clear ideas you laid out will resonate with some people who are given to enjoying things like this. Sorry to hear about your daughter's impending loss of pet, but you're a good dad in showing appropriate concern and being there as an emotional support. Often, it's the attempt on the part of others to enter into our suffering that is a key to our perseverance and making it through those difficult moments in life. A pretty good box! Congrats! Merry Christmas Jeff!
Thank you veritasfiles... Always good to hear from you... Her cat has responded a bit to the medication. He was paralyzed the first day. But by the 3rd day, he is moving around a little. She has come to terms with the inevitable truth that he is at the end of his life. I suggested she take her favorite photo of him and have it blown up for a wall hanging. I think she liked the idea. I hope you and yours have a happy Christmas. Looks like it will be a small group for us this year. But that's ok.
That silver dollar is awesome. That’s the only type I’ve ever found. I’ve always dreamed of getting a Morgan or peace dollar in circulation lol the 1973S I believe is the lowest minted date with both the copper and the silver variety so that’s a nice score for sure! I bought like $300 in Eisenhower‘s once and I believe mine was a 72S. I got my next batch of coins today, so hopefully there’s something good in there
@@jasonsellon4270 I hope you get something good too .. when you say "next batch" what do you mean? A bunch of different things from a bank, or something else?
Oh, thanks... Yes, I never intended to give it up completely... I enjoy doing it... But I will get bags or multiple boxes from time to time and just plow through a bunch. Pull out the wheaties, and stick the copper aside... I really do want to see if I can sell some in 2025. And I'll record my results.
Eww, yuck, ekkie, pew! Corroded ZINC pennies! Great video as always. I really enjoy you inviting us into your life. Simple pleasures are indeed the best! Merry Christmas to all!!
Thank you so much for the compliments... Thanks for being part of my channel. I do enjoy making the videos, but talking with all of you makes my day.... My wife often says "who are you writing to?" And most of the time I saw. Well. I don't know (for a short answer)... cheers
Well thank you... That is a real compliment... I saw a meme the other day that said all the nature places he painted was actually hints to where he buried all his victims bodies... Silly.... I sure liked Bob
Great video. Just curious, the TG pennies. You said you give them away, do you give them to other people or do you put them in circulation? I was just wondering because if you use the machine, you would never know if they’re coming back full circle, and you would’ve never found that 9/11 penny. I’m sorry to hear about your daughter’s cat.
I did put a handful in coin machines, and when I sell multiple coin mats, I was including 1 in them. (I don't make much money when I just sell 1 mat to a person, so when people buy multiple mats, I do better, so I ad a wheat penny and a TG, but now I've run out. I need to make more)
Strong on the copper, Congratulations, my box this week had an 1893 Indian head. Question, I have that full box of 2024P nickels and I don’t sale on E-Bay, would you know anyone interested in buying it? Keep Stackin Bro
Neither was picking out 90% in the sixties, look now. Copper will only go up as we age. It's basically free aside the time. If it doesn't pay off for us, it will benefit our kids
6 bags of halves ugg, 2 tellers wheeled out 4 bags? It seems I'm going through pre-searched coins from brinks. 2 boxes then 4 bags, zero on all six. Did get an 1899 indian penny from my weekly copper search, do 5 boxes a week
I tell you... The half dollar hunting is tough these days I see guys in areas still doing good. I suspect along with there just being less silver out there (more and more people aware of silver) I also think the Brinks and Loomis systems are getting more sophisticated. Good find with the Indian head
Definitely... But I've only found 5 of them ... I think the 1st few years of searching I was mostly after the silver, and buffalo, and may have missed a few.
It's a hobby you definitely really won't get anything out of if you don't enjoy doing it. You could say, 🐉my people🐉 just about have a genetic affinity toward such hobbies. >>;=) The thing I also tell people, is prepare to be disappointed by hunts that don't really give you anything, find fun in those anyway, and don't give up. Dudds happen, but the more you do it, the more the law of averages are going to get you some really cool stuff that add up over time. I search for all the varieties I feel have some value, and the prev box I found a 1988 w/ flared FG that's apparently worth over $20 based on what PCGS shows for that. Only difference we do, is I sort out the Cu that looks right around MS grade or bright colored, although I need to pull out the "unfathomable" ones and put in tubes. The gunky, dinged or worn Cu goes in the junk Cu pile, and little by little, I'll get some wheats/foreigns together. I only kinda recently started doing it on a more regular basis, so I haven't amassed a whole lot yet, but just for funzies, I'm tracking my finds/Cu, and will kinda see how I compare with the hunts you share here, an I-69 challenge if you will. Have a great rest of your weekend Mr. 2Sheds
@@JadeDragon407 thank you jade dragon.... You will have days and hunts that are less than note worthy.... But like you said. You need to try to find some enjoyment even in that.... Golfers and bowlers have bad days, some may have more bad than good, but the thing is to remember it's a hobby to be enjoyed. The bad comes with the good. And the good does come in our hobby. If you are house doing copper, almost every box at least has a little, some days much more.... I have a few rolls of the really really nice copper coins... But most goes in with the herd 🦬 Keep stacking friend.

I will try selling on eBay and Facebook marketplace, and see what happens

In the early 60’s, who would have thought a dime would be worth roughly $2.00 ??
LoL, isn't that the truth. I stopped in hoping for another dime bag a few days ago. Nothing yet... I'll keep asking until they get another.
