My sister and I rode camels into the desert in 2006, slept in berber tents with heavy blankets - no showers - no toilets for us and woke to watch the sunrise. We also had pizza cooked in the sand. Memories that have lasted a lifetime!! Love from London, Ontario 🇨🇦
Could you imagine having the concept of 'staying put' until the weather turns bad in the UK?! If borders are still closed, some areas you may consider are Fes which is epic in its own right, but not too far from there is Volubilis, a Berber-Roman city (great if you're a bit of a classics geek like me!) Close by is also Moulay Idriss which up until 2005, you either couldn't visit, or couldn't stay overnight (can't remember which now) if you weren't Muslim. North of Fes is Chefchaouen which is an absolute must. I loved this video, you guys really did look like you were having the time of your lives! ❤️

I can't believe you haven't seen a camel after a month in Morocco...I was in Morocco for maybe 8 hours and managed to see some! I also saw the tree climbing goats! That bread looks so good (ignoring the rock!). I was lucky enough to visit a bakery while on my very brief trip to Taroudant and I have to say it was just about the best bread I've ever had!

Get yourselves over on the ferry to Gran Canaria... we moved here from the Somerset in the UK 2 years ago... only a stones throw away from the Sahara and the winds have brought a lot of the sand over to us over the years! We have our own dunes, and stunning landscapes and mountain drives and beautiful beaches and mountains with safe campsites!! Would love to show you around! Also plenty of cheap ferry's to the other canary islands, tenerife, fuerteventura, Lanzarote ect... not just for cheap package holidays lol. Happy Birthday Craig 🎂
Seeing the washing on the dashboard suddenly made me feel like I was there. All of my childhood my family traveled. We took road trips around Europe and the US. Even yearly trips cross country (to see Grandparents or to take our yearly summer or winter vacation) resulted in random stops at Cheese Factories, monuments, bazaars, etc. Many times wash was put in a sunny spot to dry or a t-shirt was hung in a window for shade. Best childhood ever and that’s how I plan to spend my medical retirement years, as soon as my daughter graduates from high school. Kind of reminds me of a night in the Sinai desert when I took Rosie moonlight horse riding followed by dinner in a tent. I gave my shoes away to our guide because his trainers were falling apart and got weird looks when I went back to the hotel in just my socks. Please go to Micronesia. The Palauan Islands is where I am from and I think you guys would have a blast. From Diving, Snorkeling, Kayaking, farming on the Taro Fields, or the Giant Clam farms, and just seeing and hanging with the locals. I think you two have the best temperament for an expression of Palau.

I think you should do the Camino de Santiago Frances Way in Spain. Most people start in St. Jean Pied de Port France and then hike over the Pyranees. You can stay the night on your way over the Pyranees. It's a 500 mile walk across Spain. I am 64 and my husband is 74. We are walking it end of May! You can have your bag/backpack carried forward to each alburgue, hostal, pension, or hotel. You can stay in alburgues if you bring a sleeping bag, with lots of other people. Or you can stay in pensions or hotels like we are going to do. :) Let me know if you need more details or you can look it up. There are planning services but most people plan it themselves or just go and walk and stop when they need to each day. There is a movie called "The Way" which shows a little bit of what it's like if you want to watch that. :) Enjoying your videos!!

The love you two share is a VERY big rarity and my wife and I are overjoyed when we get to witness such heartfelt love! Happy birthday young man! I remember quad biking in Tunisia on the edge of the Sahara - Epic. Went camel, donkey, horse back riding for the whole day too. Ending up in a Bedouin village where a little old lady made us traditional flatbreads served with different dipping oils mmmm

Happy New year, I feel like we have been through so much this year with you guys, thanks for always being there for our 'Sunday night support'. Maybe I just love my country too much but please come to South Africa and see the rest of the country, South Africa has so much more to offer (And if you can't bring custard you can sleep on our couch and we can show you the best spots in Durban and the whole country) I know you have been to Cape Town but it is like a completely different country to the rest of South Africa.

I can't believe you haven't seen a camel after a month in Morocco...I was in Morocco for maybe 8 hours and managed to see some! I also saw the tree climbing goats! That bread looks so good (ignoring the rock!). I was lucky enough to visit a bakery while on my very brief trip to Taroudant and I have to say it was just about the best bread I've ever had!

Get yourselves over on the ferry to Gran Canaria... we moved here from the Somerset in the UK 2 years ago... only a stones throw away from the Sahara and the winds have brought a lot of the sand over to us over the years! We have our own dunes, and stunning landscapes and mountain drives and beautiful beaches and mountains with safe campsites!! Would love to show you around! Also plenty of cheap ferry's to the other canary islands, tenerife, fuerteventura, Lanzarote ect... not just for cheap package holidays lol. Happy Birthday Craig 🎂

Seeing the washing on the dashboard suddenly made me feel like I was there. All of my childhood my family traveled. We took road trips around Europe and the US. Even yearly trips cross country (to see Grandparents or to take our yearly summer or winter vacation) resulted in random stops at Cheese Factories, monuments, bazaars, etc. Many times wash was put in a sunny spot to dry or a t-shirt was hung in a window for shade. Best childhood ever and that’s how I plan to spend my medical retirement years, as soon as my daughter graduates from high school. Your Sunday videos help me keep track of the weeks and fuel my desire to travel again. Happy Belated Birthday to Craig and Happy New Year to you both. Kind of reminds me of a night in the Sinai desert when I took Rosie moonlight horse riding followed by dinner in a tent.
I gave my shoes away to our guide because his trainers were falling apart and got weird looks when I went back to the hotel in just my socks.

The food at the camp looked so nice and the moon lighting up the desert, scootering around the palms looked fun. What a bday.
Please go to Micronesia. The Palauan Islands is where I am from and I think you guys would have a blast. From Diving, Snorkeling, Kayaking, farming on the Taro Fields, or the Giant Clam farms, and just seeing and hanging with the locals. I think you two have the best temperament for an expression of Palau.

I think you should do the Camino de Santiago Frances Way in Spain. Most people start in St. Jean Pied de Port France and then hike over the Pyranees. You can stay the night on your way over the Pyranees. It's a 500 mile walk across Spain. I am 64 and my husband is 74. We are walking it end of May! You can have your bag/backpack carried forward to each alburgue, hostal, pension, or hotel. You can stay in alburgues if you bring a sleeping bag, with lots of other people. Or you can stay in pensions or hotels like we are going to do. :) Let me know if you need more details or you can look it up. There are planning services but most people plan it themselves or just go and walk and stop when they need to each day. There is a movie called "The Way" which shows a little bit of what it's like if you want to watch that. :)

Went camel, donkey, horse back riding for the whole day too. Ending up in a Bedouin village where a little old lady made us traditional flatbreads served with different dipping oils mmmm
