Typically I cut a longer string. And cut off the redundant length after I glued it to the right position. I only cut desired length in case the position of the string is not easily reachable by scissors
Did the anchor chain come with the flyhawk kit? I ask because the links are not typical of what I see in other 1/700 kits (they actually seem more accurate). Just curious
