Great as always. Thank you. I look forward to trying this out. One thing I request when you’re setting levels - explain why you’re setting it to the number that you’re choosing. For example when you’re doing the envelope and you’re setting the decay a little higher than the sustain - I’d find it helpful for a little explanation of why are you choosing those numbers. It could just be based on sound, which is fine, but you may also have some theory behind that as well
Thank you!! You're in luck. My latest video I go through all the steps when I'm recreating a sound. Hopefully this will shine some more light on the process.
Thanks for the recipe. Although I am not a fan of this sort of 34, 55, 61 tutorials. I think sound design tutorials should start with analysis of the desired sound and deconstruction / proposal of the likely steps to get there. Then record the journey and thinking / hearing along the way of getting there.
I remember smoking Djrum blacks in middle school. didn't know they also made music. that's cool.
hahahahahaha

Always wondered how he made the donk for "Sex". Such a tune.
One of my favorites and he is one of my favorite producer/Dj's

I'll try and do a little better to talk about the steps I take when I work out how to make a sound without waffling on to much.
