Wow, this was an incredible video! Instead of just an entire video about how you'd make runescape work in VR, you referenced and showed features from other games and why they work. Lots of information while somewhat showing off a few other games that I now also definitely want videos/streams on! Bravo. Keep up the great work, dude!
THIS VIDEO IS GREAT. A fun concept whose presentation is dripping with passion and attention to detail. Thanks for the high-quality hit of nostalgia on this one. Also, Contractors has runescape maps that are good fun! Definitely feels weird shooting guns there, but very fun to be in that world during a game.
Oh damn, I gotta go check out these Contractors maps now. Falador Massacre vibes or something. lol And thank you! Definitely a different tone, but I love messing around with new formats every now and then to keep it fresh around here. Was also a fun challenge to use only Runescape music in the video, including the Kiwi Design Ad. lol
Ah damn. lol This is wild kinda. The bow in-game looks to be a recurve, I drew what I thought was a Runescape "Comp Bow", which I thought was short for Compound, but was actually short for Composite, which is the shape I tried to draw. A trifecta of confusion.

I saw that came out recently! As far as I understand though, WoW definitely works better since it's not based on a tick-based system for movement/input, it's consistent with WASD movement and the like and all manually input. The trick with Runescape I think is that it's all automated tasks, so simply seeing it in 1st person VR would feel lackluster anyway, unless it went for a Moss-like visual POV.
