We’ve taken a look and found that this ad doesn’t go against our Advertising Standards. Because you reported it, we won’t show this ad to you again. You can also influence the ads you see by hiding ads or changing your ad preferences. If you disagree with the decision to not take the ad down, you can request a review.
They use fake CNA clone websites with fake articles where the celebrity involved allegedly reveals some crypto/stock etc. "secret". There is often a clickable link in the fake article either to a phishing site or some other form of scam. I've already reported at least 10 such scam ads. I'm guessing those links that lead to proper pages (the old articles/actor bio page) are the scammers changing the linked website to avoid being banned after being reported.
Same, I reported the ads too, but facebook just reply: "We didn't remove the ad. We've taken a look and found that this ad doesn't go against our advertising standards." I was like... wtf... I think facebook need to fire the person who reviewed these ads.
Facebook needs to stop all these fake ads...if Facebook dnot do anything about all these fake statements, it's encouraging more mroe this fake contest ..end of it Facebook dnot care.
I reported and blocked one of these “ads” and the more it keeps popping out when I scroll through FB.. I reported and block like 5 of these kind of “ads” in a span of a few minutes of scrolling. FB clearly doesn’t care.
There's a similar scam going on in Malaysia but obviously localised. Same clickbait title but talks about maybank smart boost investment. Apparently maybank does crypto investment now
Clearly these "ads" are clickbait. FB or wherever else these are found won't get acted on unless the subjects themselves report them. One other thing to remember is bad (any) publicity is better than no publicity. So I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for these celebrities to even report them.
So many of these ads! Are “Celebrities and Ministers” featured able to form a class action lawsuit against social media companies that propagated such scam ads?
I also get lots of facebook junk ads. Some telling me I'll be rich soon and buy my own plane. Others are for steak restaurants. In the US. I reported. But same "we found nothing wrong ..."
plenty on instagram as well, not surprising since they are the same parent company... Report also no use... Meta should take a look at this video and comments, and wake up their idea.
Good choice of thumbnail. Those in taiwan know about jj lin’s multiple relationships with women, in which one even ended up being dead after she committed suicide. If you know chinese, you can look it up
Bank of Singapore is the private banking wing managed by OCBC. Need at least S$3,000,000 to open an account. . I just opened a S$5,000,000 account with them in 2024. . . . . . . . Just kidding. I'm piss poor. Sobs the last the word...

Words the last
I reported one of these ads to Facebook and they came back and said that there was nothing wrong with these ads.

@@ronq7547 facebook unfortunately just wants money. if it pays their bills, they'll allow it even if it's a gray zone
Sponsored ads are like mosquitoes: You try to get rid of them but they’ll come back stronger.
Just like you Singaporeans
Just take a look at who's talking
Ad: Fakes image of celebrity
Facebook: There's nothing wrong with this
Reported the ads in Facebook but Facebook said there is nothing wrong. I guess Facebook cares about making money more than the truth.
bank of singapore is a subsidiary of OCBC, if anyone's wondering
JJ Lin also did not realize the microphone was on in his interview with Steven Chia.
3:39 I have been seeing some of these similar fake cna ads on ig reels
i reported some of them but facebook says its not against their community standards CB FB
I think the first one of these ads that I saw was of Lee Hsien Loong. Feels like that would have been bigger news had it really happened.
Yeolo just endangered his own RUclips career with these words!!!
This could shake the societal balance of Singapore as we know it! 😱
Different company

@@nanocodethespectator2646It is a matter of time before it happens

Dawn Tan is likely a reference to the news anchor of the same name from CNA
They mentioned you on 95.80
As an American I have no idea who these people are so I don't click.
Bank of Singapore is OCBC for high networth clients....

Saw so many such ads featuring Ho Ching…
Bank of Singapore is a private bank under ocbc. Not for the average people.
I reported at least half a dozen times to FB but they feel that it's perfectly alright and there's nothing wrong with them. I gave up!

AI: Louder
These ads with CNA branding is incorrigible. I reported it to CNA and feel they shld put more effort into squashing it.
@Toaism32 same lah I've reported the ads and they kept on coming back is like when you kill a fly the other flies come to you...
So much allegatios in FB 😂
Me waiting for the defamation lawsuits
Beware of the financial scam behind these “Ads”
