Cigarettes After Sex, private session | Live At Paris - ARTE Concert

The name of the group Cigarettes After Sex evokes sensuality, intimacy, melancholy... An imagery that corresponds wonderfully to the music of these four Americans. Led by Greg Gonzales, Cigarettes After Sex is indeed distinguished by a dream pop where the purity of the orchestration is proportional to the emotion provoked by these intoxicating ballads. A chiaroscuro atmosphere reminiscent of their compatriots from Beach House.
It was at the end of October 2019 that Cigarettes After Sex released their second album. This new opus called Cry transports us into a nocturnal and sensual universe, eminently cinematographic. It is this spirit that this private concert attempts to transcribe through its intimate atmosphere and its black and white images.
