I wish they end the whole kidnapping business as a whole unless they can come up with a similar story like Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story where she's the only one who can revive the Dark Star.
She should be unlocked after Any% most of the time. One thing I wonder, though. For New Super Mario Bros Chronicles, the story will change such that the Super Crown is literally a transfigured Peach. Then each subgame has a main boss (Dark Bowser and similar) that holds a shard of the Primal Crown. Once the player has the complete Primal Crown, a new subgame will appear, with Antasma as final boss. Now here's the thing. Once Antasma is defeated, the curse is broken and the Primal Crown turns back into Peach. But of course, for those who want to play 100%, the previous levels need to still be accessible. So how do I explain that the lesser Super Crowns still exist and function? EDIT: One thing I could do, is make Peach playable but Toadette goes home/on a journey/whatever. That kinda doesn't feel right though. Also, I could state that Peach's mind is still connected to the lesser Super Crowns, even though she isn't transfigured into the Primal Crown anymore. But that would bring in inconsistency in Multiplayer if one player plays as Toadette and the other one as Peach. Surely Peach must be somewhat distracted by having 2 perspectives at the same time? Even if Toadette stirs the course for Peachette, Peach still has the things Peachette is seeing overlap with what she perceives herself. Having the Super Crowns disappear is kinda not right either, it takes away what's special about Toadette so that less skilled players have not that many options. Although, if Peach is literally a better Peachette, that's some compensation. If all else fails, I could also scrap Multiplayer. Or make Peach and Toadette not selectable at the same time, although that, again, would need an explanation... Any opinions?
the last one was marvellous. peach yelling at mario as though for betraying her or being an idiot (i assume the voice line is a default KO line whether or not she's attacked by mario), the camera panning to show where the enemies actually are, then the game over screen showing peach upset and glaring pointedly away from mario.
Why do people hate on Peach? I mean yeah she gets kidnapped by Bowser alot but so what? If it weren't for her getting kidnapped Mario wouldn't have a reputation of being a Hero! Mainly because she's probably the best example of a useless female stereotype. Seriously Nintendo seem to have a thing for making Peach seem not only defenseless but brain dead since she never seems to make a single attempt to escape even when Bowser himself is distracted or not around to stop her. Compared to the likes of Zelda, Daisy, or even Rosalina (heck even Amy from the Sonic series) she is a total pushover and a horrible princess/leader. Zelda at the very least stood up along side Link and aided him multiple times in the final battle against Ganon (or whatever major villain of the story). Daisy appears to be much tougher (tomboyish even) and has proven to not go down without a fight. Rosalina is practically the goddess of the Mario universe. And Amy...after Sonic CD she could even make Sonic himself run for his money.

Peach had a difficult time choosing between the guy who went through MULTIPLE kingdoms to save her pink ass, and the guy that forced a marriage on her. Stockholm Syndrome at its finest.
Mario had every right to to that, Mario WAS going to ask Peach anyway, but Bowser came along and ruined that for him by pushing him out of the way to get to Peach. And it doesn’t help that Peach SAW IT HAPPEN. If she was smart, she would have pushed Bowser aside for him being rude to Mario, then left in the Odyssey along with Mario. But, no, Nintendo just can’t write good stories anymore.
As a peach main, it was so hard watch peach lose in each smash 😖
