  • The year was 2019, and together with the help of 3D Off-Road we had just completed the build of Triton JL for the SEMA Show. This was a time before Nitto Tire released the 42” variant of their do-it-all Trail Grappler M/T, and before Jeep released a Wrangler with a factory Hemi V8 shoehorned under the hood. We pushed the limits of the Jeep Wrangler JL platform, combining form and function in the pursuit of building a Jeep that would look good and drive good on-road with little-to-no limitations off-road. The Triton JL was THAT Jeep.
But we always knew there was room for improvement. Fast forward to 2020 and Jeep released the Wrangler 392 featuring a 6.4L V8 with 470 horsepower! Nitto released the 42” Trail Grappler. The stars aligned and we knew it was time to build another Jeep. In our minds, a Wrangler with a V8 was the perfect candidate to run a 42” tall tire. So planning began, and we started by taking a hard look at the Triton JL.
We took everything we loved about the Triton JL and implemented it in some way, shape, or form in the B2W 392. However, there were some key areas where we sought to make improvements - apart from the jump from 40s to 42s, these areas included suspension design, axles, and armor.

I haven't really seen anyone build a Jeep for like, to tackle the Baja 1000, but these two are amazing looking. Fantastic builds!

How do coilovers limit the ability to gain more uptravel? Can you expand on why you chose to stick with coils and shocks?

Why would one ask another one to like a video before they even watch it??!!!!

I really like the look of the Blue Jeep. I have to give it to Motobilt, I have their tire carrier and it is amazing. Wish I would have put more on my Jeep, but I also like my stubby from Smittybilt.

"I didn't do anything too major to the Triton just a few small tweaks. Yeah I put in a Hemi."

Those are such pretty showroom Jeeps

I’m biased, but I don’t disagree. I think they look good enough for the showroom but were built for the trails. 😆
