I have prospected coker creek several times with a 4 inch dredge at the place you are at and other places that were on GPAA claims and have never found over an ounce , total of gold and that was long, hard dredging ! I want to see just one of those pounds of gold you found with that gold sucker on coker creek and I will eat it!

    Kyle,
You surely can’t say you aren’t trying to find gold. You are investigating every nook and cranny but still can’t come up with that elusive stuff. That takes some determination to follow some little tributary. Digging your 💜 out trying to find any gold and through your diligence, you finally stumble on the right spot. And finally start producing something in your pan. AMEN !!! That just shows you have to keep on keeping on to finally stumble into the right hole. When you do, the payoff finally comes and keeps coming and coming and coming. CONGRATULATIONS,!!

Kyle, please don't ever underestimate the hydrolic power of a fast flow river, even in some shallow places it can still sweep your feet out from under you.

Hello Kyle...I see you have the drive to get out there and hunt for that 'shiny'...and some veterans aren't into sharing their experience with the newer folk....I would offer a couple suggestions, #1: reading the terrain in gold producing areas is key, researching the the USGS reports of the gold deposits of an area is a must...especially the older reports from late 1890s and early 1900s...#2 : while on occasion you may find some color in shallows on the banks of creek or river...the low lying flats of surrounding area, such as the first few spots in your video here...its gonna be unproductive 99%
of the time...the silty muddy banks rarely yield notta...now the spots later in video with bedrock exposures, they're the 'juice', even in the shallow banks...but you have to dig a good bit deeper than what I've seen...the big chunks of bedrock can be moved, I use a 6ft pry bar or shovel, with the water flow as a power assist...its imperative to dig to the clay...not that squishy silty blackish grey sludge like at beginning...but the orange-brown(even a lil whitish as well)rusty clay underneath the big boulders you move...if you can't move it...use that crevice sucker at deepest points or move to another boulder...you got a lot of the battle won as a prospector...you got the will and drive, for sure, plus you got more prospecting gear than me(shovel pan, sluice, and pry bar here), but most, importantly, you got your girl!!...seriously...she's hot for one, lol...and she shares that passion too...man, all I ever got from my woman what what a huge waste of time it is, or I could be doing something else more important...just friction or negativity,(I get it, she thinks its blind gold fever, and I don't bring oz home every time) ...but hey, I'm gonna do it for ME, regardless...its my passion, much more than just a hobby...knowledge and experience and the 'want to' is what it's all about...not getting rich...dont get me wrong, I find gold every trip, if I dont see more than 5 colors in a pan in sample spot, and doesnt get better after 3rd or 4th pan..moving to next spot, and so on...when I see 20 or 30 colors in a pan consistently...I set up sluice....the treasure is in the hunt, my friend....my name is Greg Minter from N.Georgia..hit me up on FB...happy to share what I've learned with others...keep digging, bro!

Kyle, what are your thoughts on the use of a motorized mini tramel for use in areas that have small nuggets and mostly fine gold? I'm curious because I saw a friends mini tramel and it seems like you could move a lot of material with it, even more than a high banker or sluice. I'm curious on your thoughts on this. The one my friend has really isn't any bigger than a normal size high banker.

Coker Creek is part of a lode gold area called the Eastern Gold Belt, not all glacier gold. NE Georgia is in this gold belt and has been producing lode gold since 1847. Also, it has been illegal to dig outside of the banks of Coker Creek for at least five years. May not want the USFS watch the video.

No way, he uses a garret super sluice pan, nothing gets out of them riffles. Plus gold is 19.1 times heavier than water it drops out fast if you stratify the crap out of it. You can then tilt that pan almost vertical dip in in and out of the water skimming 75% of the now tailings out of the pan and not lose any gold. I've seen it and now pan like that from a guy who has a load claim in Liberty Washington on Blewett pass. You can see it from the hwy. it's a hole in the side of the mountain. Some of the best wire gold in the world comes from that area. Australia is the other place. now wire gold is definitely in more area's just Blewett and Australia have museum quality wire gold. One wire gold nugget looked like giraffe pendant or broach straight out of the ground. Four years ago two gold nuggets were found metal detecting on a claim called the Potato Patch" 16oz and 12oz with a Mason jar full of 1/2-4 or 5oz nuggets. The video is on RUclips.

I live in Tennessee and have found quite a bit of gold in coker creek along with some pickers and a few nuggets. Most was near the falls but the water wasn't near as high as it is in this video. I have found gold all over that creek I tried to add a couple pictures for you, but can only text in the comments. (I have been there many many times though)

Gold not always stop in moss, but doesn’t show where the nuggets are located. Your hand pump is using hard to get into places like bed rock holes in rocks.

They will be available soon for purchase everyone will be notified, the patent process is a process in its self I want everything top quality and a TOOL because this is not a TOY that works 100% for a easy day of hand dredges with no clogs. So I apologize to everyone for the delay but once you get your hands on one no one will ever leave the creek because it’s a monster at sucking up gravels guaranteed

Have you ever panned around MN ? Not sure if it would be a hot spot or not but we sure have tons of waterways. If you come up here I can take you to some awesome rivers and creeks (not that you would need help I’m sure) when I was a kid I used to walk up and down so many rivers and creeks just for the adventure and I just have always loved to explore. I will definitely be digging around in the future 🙌
Now that I am watching you , I will prob try myself but some expertise would be nice 😝 love it man. Keep up the awesome work & vids !!

We used to pan and dredge Doc Rogers field on Coker seems like forever ago. The first time gold spiked many years ago, everybody and their momma raided the creek. Opening day of dredge season was pure chaos where we used to see like maybe 1 person. They shut down dredging completely in TN due to people digging in the banks and the silt(which is bs) Doc Rogers field you can no longer pan at either. You can find good gold near the falls from time to time, but it is patchy.

as long as you can get legal access to the creek you can walk right up to her property and pan in the creek running through her property. Nobody owns the actual creek and she can't do a damn thing about it.

Tell that to the state and police when they are called. Many Eastern states claim you have right of travel but property owner owns the ground under the creek to the middle of creek thus you need permission to pan. TN is not a prospecting friendly state that's why I moved. You can't dig outside of or in the banks and got to fill your holes up in creek when you are done. Georgia is even worse, some days you need a permit some days you don't.
