We are on the same wavelength....I have quite a few angel trumpets rooted right now too. Those gal tree pots - fit 9 perfectly in a milk crate!!!! Keep up the content brother!!!!
It’s my fave plant in the garden. Have you tried Turk’s Cap? It’s an amazing one too and grows super fast and lush with these bright red or white flowers that are edible. Mine is still flush with red flowers in January!! In zone 9A.
So no bag on top like i always see? I have not had any success with my mulberry cuttings, thinking it was just too humid with plastic over them even though i had holes in it.
Because of the extreme heat and drought, the plants didn't do much this year. I'm hoping that next year I get flowers. Update probably next year when they all flower.
I didn’t know you could root them so easily. They don’t give off seed pods like the Datura do and I couldn’t figure out how to do this. Do you cut the green wood or brown wood or does it matter?
It really doesn't matter what wood you use. They root very easily. They would give off seed pods if they were cross pollinated with a different variety.
@@FlomatonFamousI’m just seeing your reply. We’re getting ready to take our cuttings and I came back for a refresher. I noticed you said in your cutting video that I just watched (I didn’t see it earlier when I watched this one, this one makes more sense now) the green or soft wood isn’t as good or would wilt or something like that. Thanks for your reply and showing us how to do this. I’ve saved your videos and will try to remember to come back with an update later.
Where did you buy your cuttings or seeds? I’d really love to buy some. A neighbor had gave me a cutting back in late fall but, it got put out in the shed all the water dried up in the bucket so now I’m sure it’s dead. Now I just don’t have the heart to tell her what I did and ask for another cutting.
Thank you for your videos, I have learned so much. My aunt gave me a potted cutting last fall. I repotted it this spring and put it outside after last frost. It took off and had so many beautiful blooms. I’m now obsessed with Angel trumpets! Thanks again
Hello. New sub! Discovered you as I was searching how to grow angel trumpet AND trumpet vine. I am obsessed with these vines and LOVE that you're in Bama! Are you on Facebook snd Instagram?
I'm here because I went down the rabbit hole...and now have 5 different varieties! Looking forward to propagating!! Thank you for all the techniques!
Awesome!
Thank you ❤❤️from DENMARK 🇩🇰

Awesome! I’m going to have some really nice varieties. Thank you and thanks for watching!
Brugmansia are such beautiful plants.
So interesting!!
Looking forward for more
Have a wonderful day :)
Thank you for watching! Good day!
These will be lovely! Love Angel trumpets!
I'm going to have a huge variety, Maybe in a year or so I'll have some available.
@@FlomatonFamous maybe in a year or so I’ll have time to care for some! I had a lovely one in Fairhope but my cutting was left behind somehow….
@@theresasuttle711 What color was it? I have a single orange you can have right now. I'll have some doubles later.
@@FlomatonFamous oh thank you, but really, I don’t have the time for flower care right now! I’ll get one next spring if you have them available!
I have a cutting of this, it's in water and has some roots but the top looks like it is drying up.
What do I do
You can dip it in slighted nestled wax. I would use parafilm tape but you may not have some.
Nice. Thank you.

Turks Cap squash? I've tried a while back.
@@FlomatonFamous no, not a squash. It’s just a type of flowering plant.
Thanks. Gonna start a fig next.
Awesome! Goodluck!
When do you take cuttings when you bring in for the winter
Yes, I take cuttings a day or two before frost.
Amazing!~ I will copy your methods! thank you~
Thank you for watching!
So no bag on top like i always see? I have not had any success with my mulberry cuttings, thinking it was just too humid with plastic over them even though i had holes in it.
The bag on top is not required for dormant scion wood. I do wrap the scion in parafilm to prevent them from drying out.

I took cuttings of the orange from my yard, others I bought on Facebook yard sales. Seeds I got from membership at www.brugmansia.us/
It would be interesting to see how they would root in sand.
Might give it a try and see. Sand is a very popular rooting medium.
the water mine is in stinks is that normal
Feel free to change the water on a regular basis
What potting mix are you using?
Sta-green potting mix
Are they clear bags you bought “mushroom bags”?

How soon the Cuttings start blooming?
Usually the following year
Where can you buy cuttings ?
www.angeltrumpetnursery.com/
Hi! How often did you water the cuttings?
The ones in the pots, maybe 2 times. The one in bag, none.
Butfull
Won’t those cuttings take two or three years to create a Y and bloom?
PS the word “salmon” has a silent ‘L”
They can bloom from cutting the next year.
Not necessarily in the south (Alabama). 🤣🤣
I've heard these are very toxic to humans and pets. Have you had any issues?
I have about 15 plants throughout my yard and never had issues.
