Feel for you brother. I'm here in north Ga too, also had 100% die back last winter. All of mine are in the ground though. Amazing come back though. Crazy how fast figs can grow. Most came back to over 6 feet and a Tiger made it back to 9 feet. And they didn't break ground till May. Blows my mind.

Y’all convinced me to get a St. Rita. Ordered a monster cutting from Off the Beaten Path, and it is doing phenomenal.

Impressed, I didn't know that there were even more than a few varieties! Figs and dates must be the most under-rated quality food. Except the ones grown from sewage water in Tellyvive!

Is his goal to plant most of those in the ground over time or is there a reason he keeps them in pots?

This was so cool and I learned a lot! Thank you both so much! Grateful for you sharing your knowledge and experience, Mr. Abdul! The old fig variety that you guys were talking about is Moulinat, is that right? What was the one right afterwards that you couldn't pronounce? 😅 I'm always curious what cool and unusual varieties people are growing! Many thanks, again, to both of you!
