    Inside the mind of a genius. Someone who can visualize-hear what is inside his head. He was in control of his artistic expression and advanced in songwriting. I was only 10 when he was killed and I remember what the impact was across the world. One of the chief songwriters of the 20th century whose legacy lives on. RIP.

      If John had recorded the vocals for Yoko's album "Approximate Infinite Universe," it would have been regarded as a classic. She could write interesting lyrics and arrangements, and she hired the best studio musicians of the 70s, but her voice is a deal breaker for most people. John loved her vocal gymnastics, and he and Jack Douglas did their best for her on "Double Fantasy," but she did not have a voice that appealed to most people.

    • @wormsnake1
      @wormsnake1 Год назад +2

      John was seriously under weight. How can you say that? He weighed just over nine stone if that. He was 5’11. His natural weight was 11 and a half stone.
      The myth is that he was cleaned up. The reality is that he was on drugs, an anorexic and in a marriage he felt trapped.
      This outtake still shows a sharp kind, alert and creating. Nothing could kill his “creative spirit/energy” which is ironic because in his personal life he was struggling here.
      God bless his soul. John you gave the world you’re wonderful talent and we are all richer for having known it.

      @@wormsnake1 you are so wrong John was not on drugs
      He quit doing drugs way before Sean was born, and he never returned to them again
      You are also wrong about him being trapped in his marriage
      John and Yoko were a very happy couple
      Of course, they had their ups and downs like everyone, but they were not unhappy.
      Last, but not least I want to ask you to please stop calling John anorexic because that is also false
      John was a very healthy man who took care of himself
      In other words, the person that you are replying to is correct, John was cleaned up, so please have some respect and stop making things up

      So did you know him John Lennon?😂. Read Fred Seaman’s book? He lived with John the last two years of his life. Read May Pangs book? She was his lover for a few years. Each validate these opinions. What are your sources to back up what you say?
      But you must but right because you think you are!!😂.x

    • @angiethebeatlesgirl228
      @angiethebeatlesgirl228 Год назад

      @@wormsnake1 Fred Semen’s book is not a reliable source
      That book is full of lies, and the only reason why he wrote it is because he was upset due to the fact that Yoko found out that he had stolen John’s diaries
      Now regarding May Pang, I think that she is a good woman
      However, she is jealous to the fact that John chose Yoko over her, and her jealousy causes her to go along with Semen’s lies
      Instead of listening to crazy people, I advise you to listen to John himself
      Listen to his 1980 interviews
      If you pay close attention, you will hear how happy he was
      You must also know that if he would have felt trapped, he would have never wrote songs such as Woman or Dear Yoko
      John was a very honest man, and if what you are saying would have been true he would’ve said it himself

      Takao, YoYo kept John on a short leash. After his lost weekend, she never let him out of her sight. What a shame that John couldn't see that she was acted more like a handler than a wife.. I mean I know that she helped John recover a lot of royalties owed but she made sure that she stayed deep into all of his business....

    • @patrickthomas8890
      @patrickthomas8890 3 года назад +7

      She did the same during the White Album sessions after her and John were in a car accident. She got up from the bed in the studio and walked over to George’s amp which had a dish of biscuits (or cookies in America) and helped herself to one. George went berserk and called her either a cunt or a bitch (don’t remember which) for taking one without asking and for the fact that she was otherwise acting like she was pretty injured but was able to get out of the bed with no trouble. Many people think Paul was the most angry over the Yoko situation when in reality it was more so George. He briefly quit the band in Jan 1969 in part bc he was angry over her constant presence in the band’s affairs and her enabling John’s heroin addiction. George himself was pretty moody and could be a very curmudgeonly dude despite his quiet/shy/spiritual reputation
