I forgive Arin many of his other flaws, but it gets tiring how he constantly shits on the N64 and it's games for the sin of not being MUH CHILDHOOD. At least this best of is here so I can (hopefully) skip a lot of that.
It’s amazing how when Arin finally started getting down how to actually play the game, he seemed to actually enjoy it a lot more. I personally appreciate that a lot since this is literally my most favorite game ever. This game helped me understand and come to terms with a lot of different complex ideas and concepts as a kid when I needed it. Will forever love this game and look back on that when I play it.
i never fell down in all my different playthroughs x,D wouldn't have made much of a change for me. But it definetly would have sucked like hell if they did that.

Honestly the side quests in this game were actually pretty fun. I know it seems daunting at first but like Dan was joking about, if you do it over the course of the game not only is it fun and entertaining but it’s quite easy. I grew up playing ocarina of time but now that I’m older I have a much greater appreciation for this game

Arin's always said his favorite style of game design involves no extended tutorials or complex strategies - everything should be simple and easily intuitive just from playing through it on your own. Thing is, almost no modern game does that. So a big part of Arin's shtick is deliberately trying to play games that way even when they don't allow it. Because after all, Game Grumps is a comedy show first and foremost, and Arin has always tried to derive comedy from pretending to be an idiot 😆
Thank goodness they finished Majora's Mask. I also finished it not too long ago and... ironically, I loved how much I hated it. Game was eerie as hell, but in a way that it made sense, y'know?
From a math teacher, the distance formula is just an application of the Pythagorean theorem. If you know how much x and y change, just us (change in x)^2+(change in y)^2=distance^2. Hope this helps!
It took them 3 years to finally beat it..... I beat it in 3 and a half days with less hearts, more magic, the fairy sword, all masks and only 3 bottles
Shame arin didn't let dan enjoy the story like in Ocarina. He spoiled many things. Kinda ruined this playthrough for me. It's such a sad and powerful story, the way dan is so sensitive i think he'd like it.

Well, I've never before seen Arin restart a game because it was too easy.
The Backstreet Boys truly have given us many gifts such as these.

firstly, because he used a broken item rewarded for... 'master' play.
secondly, the mini boss is easy as shit as long as you block.
Could you imagine if the torches minigame didn't bring you back up when you failed and you had to redo the whole boat thing every time you failed?
