10:55 Interesting Michael Elphick Kaliber ad. No-alcohol lager. "Great lager... I'm telling you". According to wikipedia, "He made the first of many attempts to stop drinking in 1988 after doctors warned him he could die within a year if he continued"

Is it just me, or is that an impressively fast commercial colour laser-jet for 1988 at 11:30?

That wicker Ad was largely true...Visa "card bleu" in French was the only card taken in France in those days...

And further to my previous comment: we also have Alan Whicker showing us around his "world" for Barclaycard - ironically the same thing that Rowan Atkinson of the Eagle Star advert would advertise in the 1990s (and also product placement for Access and American Express under his Mr Bean guise); the woman in the Ross Stir Fry advert seems to be a poor man's Deirdre Barlow. And the makers of the Red Mountain advert should have realised that putting the slogan caption on the end frame in white lettering on a white background simply does not work for the viewer.
