He does that to influence the clown. By telling it that it rolls a bad roll every time it gets mad and tries to give him the best roll for each situation to prove him wrong. He can effectively choose his roll this way even though the restriction is that the choice is random.
I actually find Knuckle's ability perfectly coherent with him. I mean, despite his appearance of fight loving delinquent and brutal attitude, he's also one of, if not THE kindest character in the series, be it with animals or how he's the most willing to solve the chimera conflict through mutual comprehension. In that regard, his ability fits him like a glove : a power that renders his opponent powerless, meaning that they're now forced to resolve the situation through peaceful means, which would be the best outcome for Knuckles.
not just that but it was sorta implied that once his ability is active neither person can hurt the other they only transfer aura with each hit meaning no body actually can fight since neither person can take damage
@Lalrivunga Hnamte That's not how it works, Knuckle lends a small amount of Nen which builds up over time regardless of attacks as long as he is in range, every hit he gives them adds a small amount and every hit he takes removes that amount. He's not lending all of his Aura, and it doesn't increase the aura capacity of the person it's used on.

A dope video idea is top 5 nen abilities that would work in real life. I’m not super smart and not sure how it would be done but I think it would at least make a good video
Knuckle's power fits him unbelievably well. He was either a loan shark/debt collector or worked for one, or maybe something else that would teach him the danger of high interest loans. He is also a massive pacifist, it may not seem like it at first but he was against exterminating the chimera ants and how he acts towards animals and others (like with how he fought Gon, Gon even called him very kind) so of course he would create an ability that stops people from actually being able to hurt each other.
While it may be cliche, I'd have to say that Jajanken is my favorite. It's simple brilliance and it's hype potential are unmatched in the series so far.
Hakoware is actually perfect for Knuckle Knuckle likes to brutally punch stuff, but he is also a gentle soul who would probably prefer not to kill if he can help it Hakoware is a perfect solution for this, he can punch as much as he wants and not kill, but still potentially defeat his target

Nen offers insight into its users' personalities. Hakoware being a loaner / hit-and-run type ability makes perfect sense because it suggests Knuckle used to be a debt-collector, the type who brings a bat and breaks your knees for not paying. It also suits him in that it gives him immense control/leverage over a conflict, so he has room to be kinder if he wants to be.
You said that knuckle's ability didn't really resemble him but I thought it did. He's actually a huge softie and doesn't really want to kill. He wants to win without killing.

Man your videos are pretty damn good brother. I have watched and researched Hunter Hunter a lot over the years so I feel I know it all and even I'm impressed with this series you put together. Good work brother stay blessed.
In no particular order: 1. Chameleon guy invisibility 2. Hide and Seek Portals 3. Kurapika's friend that can know stuff by listening to people's heart melody (just remember her name is Melody) :p 4. Emperator time: having potential to master all Nen Abilities gives you unlimited possibilities for learning, which makes this ability fun. 5. Bisky' esthetician (imagine being able to get infinite massages in real life!) lol
I like the fan theory that because Kite was an animal tamer before he met ging, he's using the "bad roll" as part of a training method that while he doesn't control what roll he gets, he can influence the clown to try it's best to give him a good roll. He doesnt insult the clown he just acts disappointed. Which makes the clown try harder next time. At least in my head; the restriction of random slot machine between 1and 9 wouldn't be nearly as strong of another sentient individual picks your weapon for you. True random means 1/9 times youd get exactly what you need. But if the clown has influence, then it could conspire to try and fuck kite on every single roll. And we see stronger restrictions lead to stronger powers. Or perhaps its a secondary condition to make sure the roll that reincarnates himself with the mace actually works.
APR is quite appropriate for Knuckles' fighting style; additional Nen-fueled strike increase how much Nen has been "loaned" to them. He only needs hit-and-run tactics against foes where he stands little to no chance except for APR.
Which would be great if Knuckle was a distance fighter, but he's a brawler and thus is always in close quarters, opening himself up to that loan being repaid.
@@NewWorldReview You are assuming APR could be used at long range and still be affordable by someone like Knuckles, and without causing story issues. I don't think all three at once are fair assumptions to make. I am *not* someone who sees an author as infallible in his own work, and even if I did, for all I know a mismatch of Nen Ability versus fighting style is intended but I do not believe that to be the case. For APR to be initiated at a longer range out to cost more Nen or come with other limitations given what we know of Nen. If APR remains the same, then a ranged fighter we give it to has to risk itself in hand to hand combat to start it up, even if launching a sneak attack and then running away.
@@NewWorldReview Ah, but you must remember the more limitations to an ability the stronger it becomes. Additionally, one can't choose the nen category they were born into. As a brawler he may be better suited with enhancer-nen, but I'd say he has devised a pretty interesting conjuration ability to compliment his style of fighting.
Pouf's ability, Beelzebub: Lord of the Flies would be interesting. Imagine having perfect control over all your cells so you could divide yourself into clones and be virtually unaffected by physical attacks. Only problem is I doubt a human could use it nearly as effectively, and your clones wouldn't naturally be able to fly.
In my personal opinion these are my favorite nen abilities. 1. Shizukus blinky nen ability - I think that this would be useful in many cases and I just think its super wierd and creative. 2. Neferpitou docter blythe - I'm always attracted to creepy and weird new abilities and this supports that alot. 3. Kites nen ability - this kinda reminds me of something in the old batman comics that the joker used so its nice to see something similar to that. 4. Illumis nen needles - I've always thought that needles were so elegant so just seeing somebody control somebody with them makes it kind of sexy and more elegant in a way. 5. Faitans pain packer ability - I mean cmon who wouldn't want to see there enemy burned to ash by the sun.
My list is Meruem ability (which gains nen abilities by consuming others) Killua (god speed + whirlwind) Kurapika chain ability with emperors eye Knovs room transportation ability Bungee gum
Knuckle's design is that of a gangster or hoodlum of some sort. His Nen ability is pretty ingenious in terms of the theme of the character, as it could be seen as a loan shark forcing you into a situation in which you would need the loan, but over time you cannot pay the loan you owe them and thus you lose everything and cannot use your assets for a while as they are frozen. The time in which you cannot hurt each other is the time in which the loan shark monitors your activity, but cannot harm you as they would lose their payment, and you cannot call the police lest you choose to admit to a crime so you cannot harm them as well.
My fav is whatever Melody does with that flute. Just playing music and making everyone around me feel at peace and all cool and transported into a paradise dimension? yes fucking please
My favourite ability is actually 2 abilities. Both pain packer and rising sun. I think it fits so well with Feitan because he's always cool and confident in his fighting ability even without Nen so when he has to use it it's based off of his rage and spite for the person who managed to injure him
Nah way too costly I wish kurapika would actually start limiting its use,(if you dont know what I mean I recommend reading the manga the anime ain't coming back soon😉)
Axis Boise oh right, I guess since I’m counting Godspeed as one I should count puppets as one as well. I also really like Nen Chains and Youpi’s Rage Blast or whatever it’s called.
5) Crazy Slots 4) Chapter 7 Bankruptcy 3) Hide and Seek 2) Deep Purple 1) Bandit’s Secret Also I really love Killua’s Godspeed. That would probably come in 6th
The top two still get me hyped. Half tempted to watch Netero and Meruems fight scene again. The appearance and sound design alone make them beautiful abilities.
Are you kidding? Did you even watch the show? Kite's crazy slots provided him with a PERFECT weapon for the situation he was in every time he used it on screen. And even more - Ging says that the rebirth scepter that let Kite survive the fight with Pito appears under conditions, not at random. It's either a plot convenience that he was so lucky with rng or there is more to the ability than we heard so far.
I think kite's hatsu is based from him being unluckily lucky.. Notice how always badmouths crazy slot into always getting a bad roll, while his slot says the opposite, "i don't have any bad rolls." it's like his contradicting personalities. Kite can be ruthless and cold whilst being protective . The same with him thinking he is unlucky all the time, but it's actually the opposite. Ging might have known this, that's why he taught kite the way on how to develop his own nen.
Kurapika's emperor time is my favorite. Super versital and maxes out all nen categories. Chollo's skill hunter is also cool, though impractical in lots of fights.
Bandit's Secret is basically a very high intelligence cap ability. Some run of the mill everyday guy would get trashed using it even though it's amazing.
There are many nen abilities with cool concept but if you ask my personal favorite : 1. Kurapika's ET/Chains : I really love it's depth, variety and the complexity of this hatsu. 2. Netero's 100 type Bodhisattva : Cool design and concept. 3. Knov's Hide And Seek : Arguably the most useful and versatile hatsu in the HxH verse. 4. Shalnark's autopilot : This one is often overlooked. I just love the premise of him gain an immense aura boost in the expense of muscle aches that spans several days. 5. Hisoka's Bungee Gum : Did you know Bungee Gum has the properties of both-
Bungee Gum should be number one. Because as some of you may not know, it has the properties of both rubber and gum

I'd love to have Biscuit's nen ability to summon 'Cookie' and have a massage everyday.
"Skill Hunter: A Bandits Secrets" deserves to be on here
you right
1. Knov's Hide and Seek
1.1 Doctor Blythe

GODSPEED
Kortopi’s ability is my fav. Lots of posibilities
@The Handicrapped Stain isnt that what the phantom troupe did
@@milo-sq3sd lol no they underuse it completely. if you have that you're set for life
Hisoka's Texture Surprise would be my favorite. Because every time we see it, it preforms amazingly and completely outsmarts everybody.
Transmuters have a ridiculous Representation-Problem.
We only know a few and even less who we know WHAT they transmute exactly (I’m looking at you, Zeno-dude)!
The Chimera Ants had 5 Specialists and ZERO Transmuters. 0!!
Hakoware is actually perfect for Knuckle
Knuckle likes to brutally punch stuff, but he is also a gentle soul who would probably prefer not to kill if he can help it
Hakoware is a perfect solution for this, he can punch as much as he wants and not kill, but still potentially defeat his target
Transmuters have a ridiculous Representation-Problem.
We only know a few and even less who we know WHAT they transmute exactly (I’m looking at you, Zeno-dude)!
FIVE Specialists.
The Chimera Ants had 5 Specialists and ZERO Transmuters. 0!!
Hisoka's 'Texture Surprised' is more OP than 'Bungee Gum'....He can transform any object or even Conjured/Transmuted Nen into anything using his imagination...He managed to transform his Bungee Gum into real functioning body part of his....
Did you know? Bungee Gun has properties of both rubber and gum.
1: Jajanken
2: 100 type Guanyin
3: Godspeed
4: Crazy Slots
5: Chains
I like jajanken but gon only ever uses rock. Scissors is the fucking coolest ability and paper is okay.
Chris J yeah because rock his is strongest by far
@@jayglizzyxgaming8812 rock is enhancer based. It will always be his strongest.
KL2 KLAMPGODS did I not say that, or you can’t read I said because “ rock is his strongest by far” can you not read
@@jayglizzyxgaming8812 better phrase "will always be" . Not by far. By far meaning it will someday may or may not be the case.
Im stating that rock will ALWAYS be the strongest of the 3.
Astro agreed! 🙌
Trueee i mean look at all those dogs around him🐶🥺🥺
Tbh the scene with Netero and Zeno falling from the sky with the dragon head and dragon dive has to be the absolute coldest scene in the entire HxH anime. Adult gon scenes are a very close second but dragon dive scene was just sooooo cool to see
Bungee Gum is helpful for "protection" if you know what I mean
but it's all sticky (cause it has the properties of rubber and gum)
Post mortem nen ability.
My god I thought about this he has infinite condoms
Yeah bungee gum was able to withstand a dodgeball from razor, it would be some freat armor.
my favorites (not in order)
1. Feitans Pain Packer
2. Knovs Hide and Seek
3. Chrollos Skill Hunter
4. Kites Crazy Slots
5. Kurapikas Emperor Time
2:58 yeah but he just got his ability. I’m sure when he’s older he’d be able to do it for much longer
Man your videos are pretty damn good brother. I have watched and researched Hunter Hunter a lot over the years so I feel I know it all and even I'm impressed with this series you put together. Good work brother stay blessed.
Thank you very much!
In no particular order:
1. Chameleon guy invisibility
2. Hide and Seek Portals
3. Kurapika's friend that can know stuff by listening to people's heart melody (just remember her name is Melody) :p
4. Emperator time: having potential to master all Nen Abilities gives you unlimited possibilities for learning, which makes this ability fun.
5. Bisky' esthetician (imagine being able to get infinite massages in real life!) lol
"Fun ability" lol
Everybody gangsta until pike says good roll
feitan's pain packer should be at least in the top3
1. Godspeed
2. Crazy Slot
3. Steal Chain/Stealth Dolphin
4. Healing Thumb
5. Texture Surprise
It's tricky to narrow it down to just five. Knov and Morel both have an awesome hatsu.
Star Duster
very goud
Pouf's ability, Beelzebub: Lord of the Flies would be interesting. Imagine having perfect control over all your cells so you could divide yourself into clones and be virtually unaffected by physical attacks. Only problem is I doubt a human could use it nearly as effectively, and your clones wouldn't naturally be able to fly.
I think killua is going to make his own version of 1st but with snake.
A other good vidoe dude keep it up makke a vidoe about chrolo lucifer plzzz
I love the simplicity over ja jan ken and the fact that the one attack has three different sub attacks. Favorite of which being paper
Kinda dissapointed that Bungee Gum is not here. My list:
1. Bungee Gum
2. Emperor Time
3. Skill Hunter
4. Crazy Slots
5. 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva

Don't let this distract you from the fact that bungee gum has the properties of both rubber and gum.
My list is
Meruem ability (which gains nen abilities by consuming others)
Killua (god speed + whirlwind)
Kurapika chain ability with emperors eye
Knovs room transportation ability
Bungee gum
Killuas ability is godspeed. With derivatives being "speed of lightning" and "whirlwind". I think thats where you got confused lol.

I love Goreinu’s gorillas. So simple and can be so effective and would love to have seen it in combat albeit by someone else more...proficient.
And I thought Kurapika's chains would be no. 1
yes those are sick but you have to lick chains to get the power
Knuckle's design is that of a gangster or hoodlum of some sort. His Nen ability is pretty ingenious in terms of the theme of the character, as it could be seen as a loan shark forcing you into a situation in which you would need the loan, but over time you cannot pay the loan you owe them and thus you lose everything and cannot use your assets for a while as they are frozen. The time in which you cannot hurt each other is the time in which the loan shark monitors your activity, but cannot harm you as they would lose their payment, and you cannot call the police lest you choose to admit to a crime so you cannot harm them as well.
I'm new to the channel and intrigued by your take on Nen.😆 Inta-sub.
Welcome! It's a pleasure to have you!
why dont you make a pole whos favourite nen ability character
My fav is whatever Melody does with that flute. Just playing music and making everyone around me feel at peace and all cool and transported into a paradise dimension? yes fucking please
Knov's ability is the most useful in real life.
Nanika’s Nen is extremely powerful yes, but it doesn’t have the properties of both Rubber and Gum.
My favourite ability is actually 2 abilities. Both pain packer and rising sun. I think it fits so well with Feitan because he's always cool and confident in his fighting ability even without Nen so when he has to use it it's based off of his rage and spite for the person who managed to injure him
I just realized from your explanation that Hakuware would be a perfect ability for Cheetu.
Just something I found interesting
You should definitely do honorable mentions in these type of videos
Kite: *one shots a chimera ant*

Emperor time
Nah way too costly I wish kurapika would actually start limiting its use,(if you dont know what I mean I recommend reading the manga the anime ain't coming back soon😉)

3. Godspeed
2. Dr. Blythe
1. Terishcopia
Elliephant_26 000 Dr. Blythe and Teriscopia is under one nen skill though just different skills of that same hatsu. So you may choose another one
Axis Boise oh right, I guess since I’m counting Godspeed as one I should count puppets as one as well. I also really like Nen Chains and Youpi’s Rage Blast or whatever it’s called.
Aside from Netero's ultimate attack, Your choices were very different from what I would have thought to be chosen by anyone
My hatsu would be transmutation
More precisely it would have both proprieties of rubber and gum
I always assumed the gold/purple scheme was to show them mixing there auras for the dragon dive as zeno only has a purple dragon earlier on
I know it’s boring and simple but the way Uvogin uses his nen is my favorite. Just pure brute force. I mean he can enhance his yelling ability lol.
5) Crazy Slots
4) Chapter 7 Bankruptcy
3) Hide and Seek
2) Deep Purple
1) Bandit’s Secret
Also I really love Killua’s Godspeed. That would probably come in 6th
The fact that Kurapika can have access to 100% of all abilities when his eyes turn red is crazy to me, easily top 5
I like the guy who can make his wishes come true via haikus
You mean Basho?
@@sagniksarkar2471 it's still cool though. Lol. As I said. It's impractical.
There are many nen abilities with cool concept but if you ask my personal favorite :

5. Hisoka's Bungee Gum : Did you know Bungee Gum has the properties of both-
