Man thank you!! I took my dryer apart and replaced the heating element and all the sensors and it still didn’t work something told me to look at your video and I replaced the thermostor and it’s working!!! Thanks!!
Thanks for the video! I have been fixing my Samsung dryer for years and this time is the first time it had the HE error. I'm hoping it's only the thermistor since that's a potential $10 fix!
I had some lent build up around fan. Tested this thermistor. I got 9.8kohm instead of 10k. I thought that was good? Also tested resistance of heater coil and thermostat and 2 thermistors on heater. Ran for a long time. Clothes very dry and very hot. HE cod again.
Well done video! I have the same dryer except the error code comes at the end of the drying near the cooling cycle. Dryer stays at 1 minute left and then gets the clothes SUPER hot. Any tips? Maybe the heating element? If so do you have a diy video on this? Thanks!
When the dryer is overheating it can be a couple things but the most common one is when the heat element is touching the metal housing and is grounded Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching my video💯💯👍🏻👍🏻

Yes, try to replace the thermistor first most likely that’s what it is
@@DIYRepairsNow We've re-washed and dried the two loads from Monday! This dryer sure keeps me busy.
@@michaelc565 do the thermistor fix the issue? If it’s heating you probably have a dryer vent problem
@@DIYRepairsNow Yeah it's fixed now! I ran the leaf blower on the vent tube just in case but it seemed unobstructed.
Awesome video. I ordered the thermistor and followed this video and my issue was fixed.
I am glad my video was able to help you. Thanks for watching my video.💯💯👍🏻👍🏻

Ran hot again. Thermistor working good...about 4kohm when dryer drum was about 190 deg. Tested for coil to ground. No shorts. Gonna order main board.
Well done video!

How do I bring up error codes
Even with .5 speed, it gives me a headache watching this video.
