Basically, my personal theory for songs that emphasize weight and speed is to use simple chord work and instrumentation. However, the beauty and mystery of the parallel major chord used in the B section's turnaround adds an important element to Ruby, and as a result, to RWBY: Ice Queendom as a whole.

that line always makes me think of Ruby awakening to her Silver eyes powers after witnessing Pyrrha's murder. because it describes what her eyes did silver energy spilt forth in the shape of silvered wings discharged into a wave of divine light cut Cinder up and rampaged outward turning the Wyvern and any nearby Grimm into statues.
So far I'm hyped for the new soundtrack for RWBY: Ice Queendom. It really pays tribute to Casey Lee and Jeff Williams' vibe but taking it up to the next level and being something new. I love the new songs so far.

There's just really something with the word "rampage" in association with Ruby and the way it's sung that sounds very cool.
