I congratulate you for the good work done on these four words. Can you please explain the difference between "talk to" and "talk with". They confuse me a lot.
Watch: means direct your vision on something to observe it. Look: is direct your eyes to see something. See: means perceive or receive informations via your eyes😉.
I'll share what have been taught to me: Watch- when you're looking at something moving or with motion. e.g. *I am watching TV (there's motion at what you're looking at) at this moment. See- it's your capability to see something because you have eyes, but it doesn't pertain any attention. e.g. I can see you. (Because I have the sense of sight) 🤷♀️ Look- is seeing or watching something but this time, with attention or focus. e.g. I am looking at you. (My attention or focus is on you)
2:36 "I said that their new house IS beautiful", " I told them that their new house WAS beautiful" Is it a rule that with said we use present & we use past with told???
after bismi allah: thank you Emma !! I re-heard this your awesome lesson about : say, talk ,speak, and tell,,verbs. good lesson as other lessonswere good.....
{today I tried to ( speak )English with the waitress, actually I did and I ( talked ) with her about the food, she ( said )"I wish you enjoyed with the meal" and I ( told ) her it's delicious. } How was my example and did I cover all them? 😊🤗
Thank you so much my dear teacher Emma, I can now distinguish the difference form between talk, speak and say, telle. So, I will tell you my English skills on day.
When you say something or tell us about an english topic , you are speaking clearly and it is directly in our minds . Talking about your teaching skills is something that we are all very proud of .
Thank you Emma, you feel the pulse of foreign students very well, another excellent video. Say-said-said: to express something using words. Tell-told-told: to give information to a person. When you use tell you must have a person following the verb. Speak-spoke-spoken & talk-talked-talked are synonyms, you can use either, BUT pay attention to 3:58!
Someone told me that your video is nice. I can speak with a better english. I will talk / speak with my friends about your channel. if you haven't understood, i said that your lesson is amazing :)
Hi from Kurdistan .. I am one of you English fans and followers here in kurdiatan .So I wanna thank you for you did for us .. really you're a rare treasure of English
I and a friend of mine were talking about learning English online, then he told me about your channel. He was so excited, he just couldn't hide it. I said that mmm, your English has been improved in such a good way, specifically your speaking skill ....Did I used them (SAY | TELL | TALK | SPEAK) correctly? Cheers my dear teacher.
Emma from mmm english told us the difference between say, tell, talk&speak confusing english verb. thank you emma you are a great teacher i apprcaite you.
Hi, I'm from Brazil and I'm learning English about 6 months, I just saw a video about the differences between "say, tell, talk and speak" and you helped me very much ☺️ *Maybe there are some errors in this comment, because I'm still learning and I tried to write this by myself, that's it, thank you very much.
Emma I would say that you're very pretty, tell me from where did you bring that beauty? I really would talk to you and tell you that I really can't speak when I see this pretty face .
hi emma, a lot of latin American students in Australia would like to learn vocabulary in context from you, I was talking with some students and we were talking that if you make some videos of conversations with phrasal verbs or whatever with lyrics and mix it with imitation technic, that would be wounderful... is just a point that yours followers want. we could learn new vocabulary with australian acent and improve our confident with imitation technic. and ( sorry if I wrote wrong ) by the way ... this is such a good video.
Another useful video. It's so nice for me to watch and listen to you. Despite being simple at first sight, these 4 verbs might pose some problems, especially SAY and TELL. As you know, there are plenty of collocations with both of them, for instance TELL THE TRUTH, not say ... or SAY HELLO, not tell ... etc. These collocations may be confusing a little; fortunately they might be learnt by heart easily.... EMMMMMMA, PERFECT JOB AGAIN!!!
What a simply explanation, good to understand one at a time, and beautiful teacher. Is it true that to watch this kind of video which is useful for free?

This is the first video where I have learned the difference between tell and say. God bless you every single day.😘♥️
Can you talk about WATCH, SEE and LOOK? Thank you
Watch: means direct your vision on something to observe it.
Look: is direct your eyes to see something.
See: means perceive or receive informations via your eyes😉.
I'll share what have been taught to me:
Watch- when you're looking at something moving or with motion. e.g. *I am watching TV (there's motion at what you're looking at) at this moment.
