    I'm still getting use to my new bokken, since kendo with one hand is pretty hard, especially with a heavy bokken. Thanks, sensei

    Hi sensei, is the equipment you're using - when hitting with the home shinai - a pear shaped punch bag used in boxing ? I was considering using an old tire but it takes quite some place at home

      That's a punching bag for kids. You can probably put a men on it. :) I don't remember where I got it from. You put the water in the base to stabilize.
