I hope disney somehow miraculously collapses before it crushes fortnite, but since they hold equity they'd start dumping fortnite stock and making the value drop, which might cause a fhain reaction and kill fortnite anyway. I'd only be slightly disappointed about losing the BR mode, because unofficial servers are possible, but losing Save The World (the zombie defense mode that fortnite was first known for) would be very disappointing
I don't know if these have to do with Disney's involvement with Fortnite, but here are some recent things that have happened. Epic Games shadow banned four emotes behind an option in settings that is turned on by default for all users. This setting makes it to where if an opponent uses certain emotes, you won't be able to see them doing the emotes and their character will be standing in place. The emotes effected by this setting being Take the L, Laugh it up, Whipcrack, and Make it Plantain. The first two emotes most likely being removed for hurting fragile people's feelings. The other two are most likely being censored for racial reasons. The whip one could be misused easily, but removing the emote where you're throwing bananas is going a bit too far. It's literally just a fruit. What really confuses me though is that if they wanted to censor stuff that racial like that, why did they add a weapon that is essentially a giant whip and a consumable banana item that people can throw at teammates and opponents this season? The Tatsuo skin has been leaked in game and fans aren't happy about it because it looks nothing like the concept art and it looks way uglier. The in game model looks like a dollar store rip off action figure of the concept art.
The only reason I understood The Marvels was because I read Mrs. Marvel‘s comics as a kid, and was able to kind of deduce what was changed from the comics to the movies. For that black girl from WandaVision, I had no idea what they were talking about. Thankfully, she didn’t really have much bearing on the plot compared to Mrs. Marvel, but good Lord.
I was kinda expecting disney to buy ea as their video game acquisition, not just because theyre not that different business practice wise, but they also extensively collaborated with the star wars games, much more than disney did with epic games. Disney is on their way towards Wolrd Domination
No no no no no no no no no no CLUB PENQUIN REPEAT
Bob is so short sighted its no wonder it only took billions of cash gone for him to finally realise it doesn't work
The fact that Disney owns the Unreal engine now is worrying to me.
I just hope the game will still be enjoyable. I like playing a match every now and then, and I put a decent amount of money into this game.
Mickey hitting the griddy with Goku and Joker while they kill Gohan and Peter Griffin might be real now
I don't know if these have to do with Disney's involvement with Fortnite, but here are some recent things that have happened.
Mickey cranking 90's is gonna be wild
Welp, no more DC, and no more non-Disney collabs. Sorry Miku, sorry Batman.
On one hand I am deeply concerned about what Disney will do to Epic in the long term.
On the other hand I would not mind playing as Woody.
nahh, just imagine the 2$ budget fortnite movie 💀
what comes up must come down, i guess 😭😭
The only reason I understood The Marvels was because I read Mrs. Marvel‘s comics as a kid, and was able to kind of deduce what was changed from the comics to the movies. For that black girl from WandaVision, I had no idea what they were talking about. Thankfully, she didn’t really have much bearing on the plot compared to Mrs. Marvel, but good Lord.
I was kinda expecting disney to buy ea as their video game acquisition, not just because theyre not that different business practice wise, but they also extensively collaborated with the star wars games, much more than disney did with epic games. However, knowing disney's previous track record with video games, I dont see it ending well for them anytime soon
*gets memory on what happened to epic mickey*
welp
Disney doesn’t own Fortnite they bought like 10% percent into epic games lol
I'm already worried about this, my poor Fortnite experience is gonna be ruined
the minecraft "killer" has fallen
who said minecraft
If we dont see Oswald crank the hardest 90s of the fucking century, we riot
This sucks, I've sworn to not give Disney any of my money since TLJ came out...but I play Fortnite. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what they do with it.
