These are now circa $30k on Carsales with around 200-300k kms. Is it worth considering these high kilometer LC? Won't be doing any all out 4x4 stuff, just want a nice reliable family hauler for interstate trips. Any advice would be great for those with experience 😊😊

Our Family has a manual 4.6 Litre V8, powerful car with a decent amount of space, have had it 12 years now and it's still going strong. If you have a large family of 5 and live in a country where the road infrastructure isn't the best I'd suggest getting this car, it has an ok fuel economy, with our regular daily trips a full tank would last around 15 - 14 days but they're relatively short

Please be wary of the fuel consumption, the fuel economy is not very good, I realised our fuel lasts longer simply because we don't drive around in long trips, it's a large tank but it does 15 mpg so you'll be filling up in stations for quite a bit of your trip. It is however, a very reliable car, these things barely break down and if they do there's cheap parts available for replacement

Toyota not so tough. With 160k miles on my 2008 Land Cruiser it needs a new transmission, secondary air pumps, new mirrors, the list goes on. My Ford pick up has been way more reliable than my Land Cruiser. My 2005 4Runner has been way more reliable than my Land Cruiser. Toyota Land Cruiser = junk in my opinion.

LOL bs! I have owned domestics all my life nothing, but junk. I have a Land Cruiser with 440,000 miles no issues at all. I have a Tacoma with 356,000 miles just as good. Learn how to maintain your vehicle.

needs new transmission at 160,000 for a 2008 LC? Never ever heard of that even at 300,000 miles.
