Ok, so that Kamvas 13 review IS COMING, I swear I'm not trolling you guys. I dont know when I will get a working USB-C cord but when I do I can adequately test and review. Sorry.
🙄🥺
Might be a dumb question, but do you need to use Huion's USB-C connector or can you just grab any one that you might already have?
i wish the wacom intuos s has touch
@@damianrclarkeee the older one does
On one hand i wanna see that review so bad, on the other hand i hope this becomes some kind of running gag :D I wonder if the huion drivers will work with apple products
I like how many options there are now for digital drawing tablets and screens.
MageThief lots of options.. but I went through two of the older model Huionn last year in a months time. Both of them the charge cable stopped working randomly. After further research I found many had the same issue with cables stop working. Also a lot of reviews are sponsored :( that said I’d recommend Wacom. They cost more upfront but none of the durability and weird glitches issues with other brands.
And still cant afford one... one job I need, just one goddamnit.
Yeah, my dad is starting online teaching for maths, he just bought a lot of things and forgot about writing, i told him he could buy one of these tablets but he said he will use papers and a webcam
@@STICKYArt can't you just buy a new cable? Seems a lot cheaper and practical than buying a whole new tablet
@@umxrr8677 Actually would've done the same as its also cheaper.
This looks like it's the best bang for your buck
I'll definitely check it out
I feel like I know you. like we have encountered many times.... funny huh
wait, you draw?
this guy actually everywhere
Bruuuh why tf r u everywhere
Oh my lord! Dude I’m seeing you every where 😂
I love how in your HS610 review, you mentioned the dust building up and collecting in tablet and pen and now the have released one where that is much less noticeable, and I like the style. Might be the one I decide on getting! :)
Bought one already
Loving it and it's my first drawing tablet.
where did you buy it from
Aliexpres
@Knightchell sketch book
how's it doing? is it good for the price?
@@s3verin318 it's working fine
I had to pay half of the price as import duty
You can look at what's suitable for you and its pricing
Bought this one and I absolutely love it even though haven't had to much opportunities of using it cause Corona, home workstation with cintique etc. I love the slick and portable design of this and as you mentioned, the size is awesome! You get maximum drawing surface but can still fit it anywhere you can fit your note book.
Edit: What I stated above, still holds true. However after working with it for few months I feel like I do have to point out that stylus compared to wacoms does feel bit worse. It is mainly about smoothnes of nib retracting inside on more angled pressure. While on wacom stylus I don't recall having any issues, with huions larger nib I found out it sometimes goes in a bit harder as the nib is pressured to the side of the stylus. This isn't too big of a issue and I don't feel like it decreased my productivity to any noticable measures, but it does give wacom bonus points in comfort/ luxury area. Aaaand I still love my huion :3
you're an angel for this comment
Is it still working?
@@mahfujatuly6339 yeah it is. I have to admit tho I wasn't using it that much these days (mostly cause I was using wacom cintique and haven't had much need for this guy nowadays ) , but I'd still recommend it for anyone starting with digital art or travelling more or even in general. I still think it is a great product and I see my self as fairly strict in my criteria for considering this type of product good. :)
@@PCgmesforeverI'm thinking of getting the One By Wacom M or HS611, and I'm kinda leaning into the Wacom because of the "pan/ scroll (legacy)" feature. Being able to scroll with a visual of the cursor also moving up and down seems like such a good thing. I wanted to ask if the Huion's also able to scroll like a scrollwheel with the mouse buttons by swiping up and down without the cursor freezing in place.
I just don't know if the scroll feature is necessary :o what do you think? Do you have any experience with the One by Wacom?
@@peterpanda7475 sorry I have no experience with wacom One. I'm not aware of the scroll feature like that in Huion HS611. There is a touch sensitive slider on it but I don't recall ever using it for scrolling / zooming.
I really love this drawing tablet, thanks brad for letting me know about it! I recently just ordered it!
Hey, can you share with us your opinion on the tablet after this period cuz u know most of the reviews are not more than 6 months review.
2:06
I got really funky, no regrets! My parents got me this tablet, since the last one I had was really tiny and simple (a Huion H430P), and I absolutely love it! It's fun, big, portable, and the multimedia buttons, for someone like me who listens to music while I draw, are amazing!
I was searching for review of this tablet online trying to figure out if it worth it just now, no review seem good until I saw yours. Greatly helpful! Thank you!
Really? Thus seems like a friendly tv as, well, did you end up buying this tablet?
3 years later update?
I plan on buying this as my first drawing tablet. I've always been a traditional drawer but I've been wanting to get into digital art for awhile now.
This was my first tablet! It worked amazing, but I upgraded to the XP pen 15.6 pro just because of the screen, but this tablet is still MY FAVORITE for aesthetics, and portability!
Does it work with Krita??!
@@mrs-kb4327 Yeah!
I always thought that the speckles on the screen would affect how you draw guess not, you learn something new everyday!
As far as Huion tablets that work pretty well with chromebook is the H640P. I got one to help my kiddo with her writing practice and it reads the pen well and I ddnt have to download any firmware or software. Worked directly out of the box. Huion's site even stated that this particular model will work with chromebook. Just my 2 cents as a momma who dabbles in digital art :)
Hey brother hope you're keeping safe.
Sending love from Brooklyn to you and the family
Thanks for the awesome reviews per usual
My h610 just arrived 1 day before i found this video, i'm still grateful for the one my parents hot for me ❤️
Is the touch wheel a problem? And did u prefer hs611 now that u watch this video?
Just got this as my first drawing tablet, obviously since it's my first there's a learning curve but after just about half a day of playing with it I could feel improvement, love the zoom bar and the many hot keys.
hi id like to ask how is the tablet's performance now? is it still good as new? im planning to buy one :)
@@shangtots hi, yeah I still find that it's really good, the pressure sensitivity is great, also from the time I made that comment the nib doesn't seem to have worn out, I heard that's an issue some people have had with other tablets but despite constant use it hasn't worn out, the only kinda issue is that it advertised as something you can use on your phone but a least in the ones I've tested it on, it doesn't show a cursor so it makes difficult to draw in them, however unless you're planning to draw on your phone that shouldnt matter, it's the first tablet I've had so I don't really have anything else to compare it too but from what I've experienced so far it's great, good luck if you decide to buy it 😊
@@sussanochoa817 thank you this is helpful!! 😄

I think $80 is an amazing price for a tablet that good
I just want to thank you for this review! This is the tablet I got, I’ve been super satisfied with it, and you were a big help!!
This will be my first tablet. Bought it as you were reviewing it lol. I trust your reviews
It was also my first tablet and I had to check his review on it as well because he's the only one that is truthful.

Best investment ever.
How was it
How does this man have the drawing tablet over the keyboard like that?
For a second I thought there was too many dust on this

Thank you for posting this, I finally decided to buy this one after eyeballing it! But a tablet that I know that certainly works on Chromebook is the Wacom intuos, but not the best experience

Thx for the info, got me to order it, been thinking about getting back into drawing for a while, seems like a good budget choice
This is going to be my first tablet! Coming in 1 week im exicited!!!

How's been your experience with it?
Just bought it, I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!
Usually I would get sleepy while watching reviews but this is like the best and straight-forward review of tablets I've just found, you deserve more subs + view bro! thumbs up 👍
Also, can you do more a little view on the media bars? I'd be glad to know what are the keys and how to use them properly, thanks!
It is great and convenient!. We can set our own shortcut on the press keys. The design is minimalist, easy to clean. Last but not least, the nib is sensitive plus easy to use and sometimes even used it as my mouse substitute 😁
I am glad to have this as my first tab 🌼🌸
ive been using this to play halo ce lmao
My cousin got this for her birthday and I can confirm it draws well
I just bought one last night... with your link, of course.
Love to see traditional drawings from ya!!!!
I keep seeing many reviewers claiming this tablet has no cursor while or that we can only use only a small part to draw in while using it with an android phone but I'm using this tablet on my Galaxy S9 regular not the plus & it has a cursor & I can draw in the entire tablet using it with my android. All I did was enable the cursor on the app I'm using.

In a way, I love how many options there are for digital drawing tools, but in a way it’s annoying because there are just so many choices...how will I ever decide which one?
Research you're options and find out what features that's suits your needs
Ask people who had or have the product, then make a personal opinion about every tablet, also consider things like customer support, products that fail (the quality control), specs, etc. Sometimes there are 2-5 choices and all of them are really good (maybe one a little better than others), but if you can decide easily then even if you don't get the best product you probably get a good product, and is better to enjoy it than to think maybe you didn't get the best product.
HEY I JUST ORDERED IT AND ITS AAAVIING FRIDAY CANT WAIT TO ANIMATE ON IT
I just got it this morning ,and it's my first time in digital art.
it's so hard but comparing to when i just opened it i'l much better- so in conclusion: practice.

I have a question! I'm not sure where to check for this kind of thing myself, so my apologies.
When drawing on this tablet specifically, does the pen feel more like a paintbrush would compared to a pencil?
To further explain, does it feel like you're drawing into a hard surface or does it feel like the nib moves into the pen to support a brush stroke kind of feeling?
I have a 680tf currently that is... causing me some issues and it feels more like the latter than it does the former, which is what I'm looking for.
after i got the tablet which i didint know it came with but i looked like a badass
Love your stuff man
Cured my boredom during this quarantine
How much pressure is needed for it to start drawing? Like does it draw immediately with any contact between the tip and the pad? Or does it require a little pressure to activate, like a ball-point pen?
Cause I just got an HS611.. and it seems like it doesn't detect very light touches.. the pressure reads 0, just resting on the tip under the weight of the pen itself.. But it seems to be working for everything else.. :/ is that just normal?
Hey, i have a question, since you reviewed most tablets currently on the market. Wich of the Tablet's offer the most delicate pen? (Huion, XP-Pen or Wacom) Since i have to replace my old wacom tablets and i really hate the basic pen they ship with it. It feels a lot too big. I know that there is a special Pen from Wacom offered seperately for the price of a whole new tablet, and i couldn't even buy it since it doesn't support the old models anymore.
Hello Brad! Thank you so much for a great review ! I am confused between One by wacom ($104 CAD) and Huion HS611 ($112 CAD) ....which one would you suggest for me as a beginner going to use the tablet solely for drawing ?
Very helpful, thanks!
Thank you Brad for a great review. Been viewing all your drawing related videos. Have a small query. Does the pen drift when hovered 10 mm above the tablet? Like the cursor moves along the pen while its still in air 10mm above the tablet but doesnt click/draw anything on the board.
looking forward to the new kamvas 13 review!
Dear Brad! It was a very useful video for me. As I am planing to buy one but I am confused. Could you please give your honest opinion which one to buy between Wacom Intuos and Huion HS611 or anything else below 100 bucks with medium size? I am gonna use it for taking online physics class, I may also use it for drawing something in Illustrator for fun (I am no artist).
Do you still need help?
If you are using it for physics or something like that get a cheaper tablet (like a huion 640p or something like that with good reviews and cebets size on Amazon).
@@YizusCrist I have already purchased Huion. Thanks btw
@@mdmehdihassan5274 how's it going ??? any regrets on Huion??
@@Sai_Chaitanya It worked fine. Eventually I switched into iPad air with apple pencil. I didn't have a big screen, so the tablet was not the most comfortable option for me I guess. I have to deal with lots of equations and I make mistakes very often. That's why iPad was a better option for me. BTW, I am not an Apple lover 😂
Hey Brad - I'm deciding between this and the XP Pen Deco Pro (medium). Both seem very similar, but the XP Pen looks like it has a better build quality. Which one would you go for? I'm going to be using it for professional illustration work (Cliip Studio, Photoshop and Zbrush mainly) and it would replace my old Wacom Intuos (which is ancient now). The main difference is the price XP Pen Deco Pro being CAD280 and the Huion being CAD143.99. What would you go for?
Perharps you should consider the huion dial q620m. Not that I have used it but I in your position too. Also you can order it from aliexpress for cheap. just make sure you tell the seller to declare the item price to maybe 20 dollars.
that is a great review
Brad, where can I find the line straightening feature you were talking about in photoshop @4:45?
On the bar on top, tho it's only on cc 2018+
I was split between going with the Huion HS611 and the Q620M but after hearing everything you had to say I feel safe not forking over another $30 for features I wouldn't use.
I'm torn between the two as well except the Q620m is now the less expensive one. The only thing is the q620 is so big! ☹️
I ordered the red coral earlier since it seems like Huion has definitely improved from when I last had a one of their tablets. It did not go well for for me. Since then, I've had a UgeeM1000L and then right now I have a Wacom Intuos S. I'm excited for this to come in. I'll finally have a bigger space.
I had a display tablet for a hot second before I had issues with it and had to send it back, but I think it'll be awhile before I get a new display. I'm perfectly fine with my pen tablets. Helps with hand-eye coordination.
does it still work properly?
i have the pink one i really love it
What minimum computer specs do you need for illustration?
you don't need much in terms of specs. Everything can be a potato as long as you have good ram, a decent to par GPU and a monitor with good colors.
Hi! Can you please do a video on how to use the said tablet? Specifically on its controls and the basics. Thank you!
For the touch strip, can you program it to do multiple things? Like how other tablets, you have a touchwheel where you can click a button or tap something to switch between zoom, color selection, etc. or is the hs611 limited to only one function programmed at a time for the touch strip?
I've noticed that when you draw on a samsung tablet there is a cursor appears while moving the pen, how you managed to do that?
Fellow left-hander!! What are your thoughts on this?? Since the buttons are on the left side, do you flip it around?
sooo, I'm actually using this on the laptop but somehow i still can only use part of the tablet to draw? also, when i draw perfectly round circle on the tablet, it will appear like a horizontal 0... can someone help? this is the first time I'm using a drawing tablet and I'm really bad with technic stuff 😅
So I'm thinking of getting this, and my brother has photoshop on his big desktop already, but I am worried about the problem with the splotches occurring when you draw a line. Does turning down the line straightening feature completely eliminate that, and therefor make it fully viable as a good software/hardware?
hey brad! would u recommend this over the Inspiroy Ink H320M?
hey! i'm between these two as well.. which one did you end up buying??
@@artemisk2394 i bought the h320m, no regrets honestly.
@@ron-ce5kl i really appreciate your fast reply 🙏 I’ve been comparing the reviews of these two on amazon and the h320m seems to not show as much lagging or delaying ?? is that accurate?
I regret picking Space Grey instead of Coral red! T^T The colors didn't look good in Amazon that's why I chose a simple color, but when I checked on Huion's RUclips channel, the Coral red stood out the most for me. I wanted to cancel my order and reorder again but it's journey had already began. TwT
How is it? I ordered one the Space Grey too I still have to wait a few days ;w;
@@xu1786 It's actually pretty good. I have no complaints. On the first day I used it, I got used to it pretty fast that I didn't need to worry about anything. I just look at the screen without looking at where my hand is.
Will you do a review on the Huion Kamvas Studio 22? I think it just came out
HS610 or HS611? Having hard time choosing, I like the design of HS610 more and the amount of buttons plus the position of the touch wheel, but I like the USB C in HS611 and the material strip which helps storing the tablet with the pen not going anywhere
Well, the hs610 is older and I think the last driver update for that tablet is from 2019 (not really sure), the hs611 is the opposite, the drivers are in beta, around may 13th I will get the hs611 so you can send me a message and I tell you the differences, I would get the hs611 for being newer, but I don't trust (on the short and long term) the durability of huion products, is more of luck if you get a really good product or is faulty (you can search or read reviews). I would ask a hs610 a user on reddit or Amazon what they think, how much has last or how much they have using the tablet, and problems they had or have with the tablet, same with the huion hs611, I talked with a user who has the hs611 and told me the same, pen feels to cheap (also the pw100 is a cheaper than the pw500), also the pw100 and pw500 seems to have 0 technical differences.
Yizus Crist could you help me choose between huion h950p and hs611pls🙌
@@kaungsethtun3071 well, I have the hs611 and is a good tablet, I don't really know much about the 950p, but, if you want bigger area, multimedia keys, 2 more keys (which I don't use since the my keyboard is better) and the pw500 (is the "same" as the one from h950p, but I don't know why it has a diferente pen). If you want a lower price, the lock function and don't mind a space of the working area then go for the h950p.

Hi Brad. Just a quick question... If you had to choose between this Huion or the Wacom intuos medium (ctl-4100WL I think), which one would you choose?
What did you end up buying?
hoping i could be as good as u one day... im really hoping to use this tablet .. im hoping that this works great for me
I have a PC loaded with CorelDraw and a Macbook with PS. Does this tablet work with both? Does it come with its own program/App?
some nots for people considering buying this tablet:
1. if you turn it 180 degrees for left handed use you can say goodbye to both the touch keys and the slider. You're gonna want to turn them off completely if you don't want to constantly have your wrist playing music for you. There is no way currently to turn off the buttons and leave the slider working. Actually, there is no way to do it in the software drivers, you're gonna do it by pressing the two lowest express keys for a second or two to turn those off (Huion uploaded video about how to do it).
2. Could be my faulty tablet by my pen is broken now and I'm still chatting with Huion about it. it suddenly stopped working after I was trying to enable mouse mode in drivers.
3. Drivers for PC are literally in beta.
Should i get hs610 instead if I'm going to turn it 180 degree?
What end up happening with your pen?
