On May 22, I flew NetJets Europe from Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport to Paris Airport-Le Bourget on a Dassault Falcon 2000. NetJets Europe is a company that offers fractional ownership of private business jets. I was fortunate enough to fly on them, so I hope you enjoy this trip report!

After seeing scenes in Portofino and now this NetJets flight,I'm convinced that this must've been a family vacation.What was the reasoning behind flying a corporate jet vs flying commercial? Was there a time factor or was the cost of flying NJ about the same as buying coach tickets for everybody? I've only been to Paris once,in August of '81 with Dad.We flew AF from ORD-CDG,stayed at the Plaza Athenee,I took day tours while Dad has business dealings. Had I done this Genoa-Paris segment,probably would've chosen to take the train--Europe has excellent rail coverage,being a railfan,probably would've ended up on a TGV to Paris at some point.Will you post your trip home as well?

I've always been rather partial to Dassault. Their big trijets are among the sexiest planes out there.

hi qman. top quality as always. random thoughts...1) have you ever done a water takeoff/landing and 2) with the shot of the nose gear it made me think, of all the advances in aviation in the last 100 years, we still keep planes from moving by placing a block of wood next to the tires. great report, thanks for sharing. safe travels my friend.
