I always gave a long blast on the horn when approaching Bridge 131 and several other bridges on this stretch. At least it usually reduced the force of the impact if there was one, and I think it is best practice at any blind approach.

Another very enjoyable video Phil. Thank you. I liked the soundtrack too. That was a very big bend at Bridge 131. Were they trying to avoid going through someone's backyard or were they simply following the contours of the land!?

I tend to refrain from sounding the horn unless it's really necessary. It messes up the video sound. ;-)

They sit under my desk. I rarely cruise for more than a couple of hours at a time.
It's just a shame that the children with their crayons have spoiled those old beautiful bridges!
