SKT T1 Academy was consistently in the top 5 in the last 2 years of their splits up until rekkles joined.

No one would be watching Rekkles in LCK-A if it wasn't for Caedrel. Gameplay quality is just so hard to watch. Honestly respect for the camaraderie
its not Rekkles's fault. I look at the games, and usually he does well. Dal and Guwon really are solo-losing games, like Caedrel said.

The best word to describe T1A is 'Inconsistent'. Apart botlane, top/jng/mid performances and champions drafts are inconsistent af, they can take down the top tier lck challenger teams but they can also lose to air :( i think they have the potential to succed, hope never dies!

Rekkles on engage champs is still shaky (maybe except for Rakan). He got caught over and over as Naut.
In 2nd game, Rekkles picks an enchanter because he can't play engage. Because of that, T1A have no engage options in 2nd game so enemy varus & smolder can free hit.
"apart botlane" u on some type of psychedelic, as of now rekkles can only play senna and some enchanters, hes completely dogshit on tanks leaving them without any good engage picks since their toplane has some sort of terminal cancer that makes him unable to play laning phase, add to that poby has the champ pool of pothole puddle

Just to note in that first Kat/Maokai gank, Maokai griefed Kat so hard there and lost them the kill by Qing Hwei out of Kat Q dagger, she would have E + passive proc'd the Hwei again, + gotten an additional E, so Maokai griefed them out of nearly 300 damage with that Q alone.

Bro T1A bot lane probably feels so bad, Smash and Rekky are decent duo but when your top lane is playing Bauss Strat without the cs and turret push, jungler is on an adventure while humming, and your mid laner has a champion puddle it's just rough

Is it possible for academy teams to change roster mid season? Because T1’s top and jungle HAS to go ASAP. It’s so sad their bot is holding their own so well in almost every game but gets griefed by their top side..
Bro they’re academy players chill. Let them learn the game. And their botlane isn’t much better either. If you were going to replace mid top I don’t see why u wouldn’t replace reckless too he’s not much better. He just sits in lane with 0 map impact. I wish the best for them and hope they keep growing

I’ve watched all the T1A games so far and almost all the wins have been thru their botlane hardcarrying and most games come down to their jungler and top laner running it the fuck down. Impossible for Smash and Rekkles to have impact if they’re getting run down by fed enemy rumble or vi every other game. IMO Rekkles and Smash have been impressive so far, not saying they’re perfect but they’re holding their own in most games.
@@AAA-mk7ge They're playing well mechanically but not macro wise. They're are 1000 good mechanically bot lanes that could do what rekkles and smash are doing. The reason why they lose out to other teams is because they don't have any map impact. Their leads dont transfer into snowballing the rest of the map is my point. I've only ever seen rekkles leave lane for rift and I dont think I've ever seen their bot duo rotate around map to leverage leads. All they do is win lane (or go even) and then just show up to teamfights and hope they have better hands.
Not saying its their fault just that the reason they lose is because not a single player has map impact. Their team looks lost and just waits for teamfights. Someone (other than adc and top) is going to have to assume a leader role and force proactive plays. And I dont think u can shift blame away from any of them bc none of them are doing it. If rekkles stepped up they would look 100% better. Same if mid or jgl did too. My point is they're a team they win and lose as a team.
Honestly, did Poby go to mobafire for these kat runes? If you are going to pick KAT into Hwei (kat destroys this matcup btw) and you have Maokai jungle, why would you not go dark seal with 3 potions and electrocute or conquerer? Why not go for complete snowball, you are useless if your behind anyway, just have maokai perma camp this lane and win 2v2's, if kat gets one solo kill then she can win lane vs ranged matchup anyway.

I feel so bad for Rekkles.. The guy flies to Korea on a clean slate w/ nothing but a backpack & a ticket into T1A. He wakes up early morning to learn Korean, before scrimming the rest of the day. Then he tries to lead a team of players that barely know any English, and even less about League of Legends.
HOW does Rekkless look more and more exhausted and tired in every thumbnail? This man hasn't looked healthy for god knows how long.
I loved the bashing on kata. True, soloQ kata deals more damage and gets FB, but solely because they without a doubt run ignite over teleport (unless no f with tele/ignite - so they run both).
We run TP now in high elo. His runes is a fucking mistake so disgusting.
Rekkles has the worst luck. His team is dogshit. T1 management probably has no interest in improving performance as that will only waste the resources since the main team is already the best of the best. So they’d rather just aim for mid to avoid problems

T1A must fire mid, top and jun. Bot lane is the only thing that can be saved and it aint about rekkless, the thing is that he synergizes well with Smash so they can be saved.

I think Renata B2/B3 first game for T1 might've won them the game - Rekless is more comfortable (and overall better) at ranged supps; Renata could first item Mikaels and get an option to play bot -> mid (and contest drakes) if the lane was stable enough + her W could give Aatrox/Kat enough uptime to win fights

Don't get it wrong, Katarina is arguably one of the strongest assassins in the entire game.
T1A just drafted poorly, Poby did not play her well and their sidelanes got omega gapped.
The pick is legit, specially when paired with utility junglers like Sej/Mao/Rell vs immobile control mages and "divable" botlanes.
Besides that, the player must play her like a one-trick to make the pick work.

I mean why are we pretending that Rekkles didnt hard int bot game 1? That starting sequence lost the lane, and then he did it again when he lets karma solo kill smash. Because bot was so lost, Guwon had to give up his entire topside to cover tower dives. Idk why he isnt playing renata, because the naut aint it. The amount of times smash gets killed while rekkles has full abilities up and is just standing behind his adc in game 1 was crazy.
Dal and Guwon are both so bad. Is like T1 picked soloq players that will never evolve onto competitive players, they both had like 3 good games during the split they’re not gonna perform well the rest of the season anyway. Hope by the end of spring these two are back to soloq and get a good jg-top

because there simply isn't a viable kat build in proplay at the moment. In a tankier build you'd just take maybe 1 to 2 seconds more to die but you would also be much less of a threat and take 1 to 2 seconds more to do the necessary damage. In a full damage build you just get instantly popped, there is just no winning. Her wincon is the opponent being in complete shambles and not pressing any of their buttons on her, which is much much less likely to happen in proplay
Builds in soloQ and proplay are two different things. You can easily play a full AP Lux support in soloQ and make it work. It'll be dogshit in competitive because you won't ever get the same amount of gold needed to apply the pressure required. Same for katarina. Getting Krakan Nashor Boots equals a 26minutes game at least. In 26 minutes you can lose Herald, 6 krubs and 4 drake due to Katarina being ineffective for so long. You're basically gambling your game on Katarina reaching 2 to 3 items to 1v9 when ennemy team can pick Skarner Malzahar Nautilus Renata, anything that counters her hard enough to make solo carry Katarina shamble.
Poby playing on the main roster seems so much worse now.

if team a won the first game and you saw that the runtime is only for 2 games, then you already know that team a won the next round, and it sucks out all of the excitement from watching it.
some people watch for the results while others watch for the plays - if knowing the outcome of the match lessens the quality of your viewing experience, thats what the anti spoiler plant is for.
