Nice reviews.. I have the 785D & 797F, and instead of the 793F I have the 793D, I plan on getting the 793F to go with my 793D. I also plan on getting the 795F AC. I like the MT 4400D AC, and if I can get a good deal on one I'll pick it up. I'm wanting to get the White version of the 797F, I missed a REALLY nice deal on e-Bay about a Month ago on one. But I'll keep looking. Also in your review you call the Digital reading mounted on the upper rail the "Unit Number", that's actually the weight measurement display. It called the Cat TPMS which means Truck Payload Measurement System, it performs all kinds of different functions. One is just letting the Loader Operator & Driver know how much weight is on the Truck, but like I said it performs many more things as well..
+Blitzkrieg2002 Good to know about the TPMS, I didn't know that. I am currently seeing some good deals on the MT4400D. About $100 off at select stores.
Blitzkrieg2002 I don't know if you'll get this in time, but the mt4400d is on sale for the next week for only $99.99 at a company called 3000toys.com. I already ordered mine :)
David Brewster Man Thanks.. I just went there & bought the MT4400D for $99.99, and I also bought the Tonkin Cat 994H Loader for $94.99. That was a great price on both of them..
+MegaSpencea Thanks. Would that be the CCM 6020B? If so, their models are in 1/48 scale, which you probably already know. The MT4400D would probably fit really well with it. Keep in mind the MT4400D and 797F are very tall and most excavators and loaders do not clear the sides of the dump bed.
Hello, sir!I wonder if the tires of the Cat 797F are made of rubber or plastic and also if the mud flaps underneath are made of rubber or stiff plastic?!?I want to purchase this model but i need to know this detailes.I will really much appriciate if you answer, thank you very much!
The tires are rubber. The mud flaps aren't a completely hard/rigid plastic, but more like a slightly bendable plastic. Nothing like the soft rubber flaps on other models I have shown.
I see!I cannot figure it out what to do,i am looking for the most realistic and detailed 1:50 off highway dump truck and i simply cannot decide.I don't know which brand makes the best trucks replicas,to the real ones,in quality materials and detailes. Can you help me a bit, please!Thank you!
I think a lot depends on how big of dump truck do you want, and does it have to be CAT? The MT4400D is more detailed than the 797 and nearly just as big. If you want a smaller truck, then maybe look at the NZG Komatsu HD785 that I reviewed recently. Very high quality. ruclips.net/video/zH5mrqKqUu8/видео.html
You should show the steering angle of the front wheels
@ss454ls6 Wow the Caterpillar 797f model looks amazing shoutout from south africa
Yes sir it's the ccm one. Ty !!

Blitzkrieg2002 lol, I bought both of those too. They seemed to go really well together, so I just got them both. Totally worth it.
I made a size comparison between the 793 and the MT4400. The ex Terex is longer higher and a little wider in real life.
In TEREX make or CAT make?
You say that there overspray on the tyres but its a wonder that's there's any paint left on the model if you keep walloping it with that stick.
Not a chip or scratch at all. All my models are in perfect condition. Not sure why you'd think a wooden chopstick would cause damage.
i love scale model
Great review,, been looking at mining trucks to go with my cat 6020B. I love the looks of the Tonkin. Could care less about lifting the dump bed !!!

a trick : you can watch movies on flixzone. I've been using them for watching a lot of movies recently.
@Juan Corey Yup, have been using flixzone for since november myself :D
Each to their own .not keen on any ..
Thank God it's not a gate post in your hand or there would be no model left.
I am considering between the Norscit 797 versus the Diecast Master 797. what would you recommend?
Diecast Masters bought all the Norscot molds. Get the Diecast Masters.
The only reason I'm watching this is that I want to put some machinery on my model train layout.

The mining truck family
Cat 797 dad
Cat mt4400d mother
Cat 793 brother
Cat 785d sister
775g little brother
Your right the chains do suck in real life. Nowhere near as effective as the solid bar knockers
wow
How annoying is he with that stick
You are annoying
