David and Goliath. In the battle between the army of Israel and Philistines, the one-to-one battle between a gigantic Goliath and a shepherd boy, David is a very well-known story.
David is the youngest son among 8 sons of Jesse from Bethlehem in the tribe of Judah among the twelve tribes of Israel. Three oldest sons of Jesse participated in battles in Saul's army
On the battlefield, there was a warrior called Goliath on Philistine's side. He was almost twice as taller as general people. He armed himself with a bronze helmet and cataphract and carry a spear so heavy that not a one could even dare to carry.
Goliath scared the Israel army and offers a one-to-one match to depress their pride. He would ridicule and provoke them asking whether they have anyone who would fight with him alone, and Israel's side, all were in fear that no one would stand forward.
