Nuggets Coach George Karl Diagnosed With Throat Cancer

Denver Nuggets coach George Karl has been diagnosed with throat cancer. Doctors said that this is a treatable and curable form of cancer, and Karl will be going under intense treatment for the next 6 weeks and could miss some games and practices.

He wants to come back for round 2 but he should just focus on resting and keeping away from stress until/if the doctors are sure he's going to be okay. Nobody improves their health by coaching in the NBA playoffs.
