I feel so lucky that I was able to experience Jean Beliveau and Les Canadiens at their best during those golden years. As fans we live a vicarious thrill ( and sometimes defeats), and live through the experience and skills of others. Nevertheless without our involvement there would only be the ' sound of one hand clapping'.We are an integral part of a wonderful experience; we make our heroes and our teams what they are so when we lose a huge part of our hockey soul we grieve deeply, as do I, a proud 72 year old Canadian in Vermont who weeps from love and gratitude for Jean Beliveau and his family. Thank you, thank you, merci pour tous.
