My neighbor bought me "Journey To Silius" as a Christmas gift back when the SNES was quickly garnering most of the focus for loyal Nintendo gamers. Needless to say, this old-school bargain-bin title fetches a pretty penny these days.

    This channel absolutely rocks!
I looked for videos on "Phantom Fighter," "Ghoul School," and "Dr. Chaos."

It's tough, but not too tough, The "weight" of the character takes a little getting used to but the player easily can get the hang of it. I like the design choice of "longer levels" with an easier boss fight. I need a sequel!!! LOL..... ALSO on the 3rd level mini-boss you can hide between his legs and use homing missile, he can't hurt you.

I've always been a huge Silius fan. Never knew the story with the Terminator, however I always liked the simple plot. The gameplay here is amazingly smooth and fun for a NES game. I remember using game genie to get infinite lives to beat it with a friend one summer day, we played so long that by the last level we just turned it off and went outside, never to beat the game until years later. As far as the ending, I think it's that you save the earth from the alien robots.

It's fun to find the pieces of Terminator left over. One music riff. Certain backgrounds. Certain enemies.

0:08 I see you have Power Blade. That is one of my favorite NES games. I would love to see you covering it.
And GI-JOE. I never got to complete that game. I would love to see how to beat it.
I love watching your videos. Mostly for nostalgia as I remember playing and beating some of these. And sometimes I learn a new shortcut or glitch along the way. Keep up the good work!

This channels become a part of my Saturday morning routine. I've never even played Silius before today, each video is either nostalgic bliss or a new hidden gem (to me anyway).
How bout an exclusive with the talent sometime? That dogs got the looks and skill to be a superstar.

    Helpful addendums:
I'll note that the faster enemy that spawns at 16:28 starts at a different height than usual, so if you don't jump to attack, your first shots will miss, and you might not be able to kill it before it goes below the floor. It will come back up under you, and it can overwhelm you, so save yourself the headache and jump to attack it, as shown. There are one or two others like it, but you can see them in the video.
While the video did touch on this, I'll also emphasize that, after the elevator at 17:45, you don't want to move left at all. It makes the first enemy that spawns after you start heading right harder.
It may be helpful to know that the bouncing spikes in level 4 only pause when you jump over them, so if you just watch and wait to see when it happens, you might be a little confused.
For the floating blue guys in level 4, if you advance the screen just enough to get them to spawn, they'll fire once and then do nothing, so you can take them out without using ammo, which he demonstrates towards the end of the stage.

Did u know about the boss glitch on level 3? Its tbe boss before the big boss, the one that walks towards u. I accidentally found it out on my Let's Play awhile back. I was expecting u to mention it, but you didn't. No big deal really though, people oughta know about that cause if it happens u have to restart the game. Thx again for this my man! Keep'm coming

The Terminator game we needed, and never got. But, at least we got Journey to Silius.
