Please wear gear, your dad and family loves you lots just think about them every time you go out riding. Might be to hot or uncomfortable but it will save your life and your family will appreciate it. You are a beginner rider, so it’s not a matter of if but when r u going to drop the bike. Ride safe, congrats on the bike!
@@frankieandthediamondsmy opps tried to ride but they dressed for the ride so i dressed for the slide yeah i just had to slide on my opps now theys died veritably no lie had to wear my best underwear when i pulled up to my side girls house seeing as i dress for the lie i dont dress for the fives i just dress for my wife know ill find her in time then we dress for the signs of the time when its time for her to be my bride when i can call her mine because she be too fine to stay single and dry in the plane the airplane there was almost disaster but i saved the day when attendants was asking for someone to step up i stepped up with head held high “miss i speak jive”
For making turns, the biggest thing is to hold the throttle, and slowly very SLOWLY release the clutch and if you feel as if the bike is going to drop because your holding it too slowly let the clutch go out a little bit. And you will shortly regain balance.
The more you think about what you have to do, the more you can make a mistake..I recommend work on knowing your friction zone. Also turning wide is because you are fixated on one spot, look where you want to go and the bike will follow. 😊
I bought a CFMOTO 650NK for my first bike a couple weeks ago and I still get nervous riding it sometimes hahaha. You're killing it though man, would be super helpful having a dad as supportive and into the hobby as you are. Ride safe brother
Work on the friction zone and start small! Practice around the neighborhood at slow speeds just repetitively learning to smoothly stop then get up and go using the friction zone. Learn the clutch and feel the weight. If you have the money, I would highly recommend a safety course somewhere. I started off with 0 experience and just practiced the friction zone and rode around my apartment garage for like a couple weeks. I did the msf course and failed. I practiced more on the road and progressed slowly into more uncomfortable situations. I then got my endorsement through the dmv. Dont be afraid to make mistakes and to look like a beginner. We all had to learn and stall and drop the bike. Be safe and gear up! You got this bro!
If you plan on towing the bike anywhere else, you will want some canyon dancers. Its a bar harness that gives the straps a tie point that is not the handle bars. Bro you did so much better than me so much faster. I had a blast watching this video. Nope not dropping it today!!! 😂🤣😅 Im laughing because I remember the stress and terror from the first ride. Scoot all the way up to the tank, tip toes on the pegs, push knees into the tank(fix the hip). My hands were numb for the first 3 weeks. I still hit the horn unintentionally ALL the time. Congrats on successful trip!!!!!!
haha remember me when i started haha, i've made aaaaall of your mistakes, have fun with it, the 450sr is a dream bike to start on, but wear all of the gears all of the time :)
in america, do you not get much bike training on the road? like what do they teach you as i see alot of new riders looking very sketchy on their first rides like they have had zero training few tips.. look where you wanna go, the bike will follow.. when slowly down and turn dont grip that front brake, bike will most likely wanna fall, only on straights apply that front brake with mix of rear. hope this helps, get yourself some riding gear and have fun
Dude you really need training, msf, or at least a parking lot. Anybody can go straight and fast down the road. It's all the other stuff that keeps you safe on the road.
@@olheghtt don't worry I have a license and am a decent confident driver now. Had to back up Content tit ry to make consistent uploads, life's busy. Thanks brotha, ride safe out there 🙏

At a minimum, wear some good boots and some gloves. That bike falls on your ankle, you will regret wearing those shoes pretty quick. Then keep your eyes where you want to go so you stop ending up in oncoming lanes.
Cfmoto is the best choice I'm 6'3 as well and have been riding my 450ss for a year and zero issues I'm super comfortable on it and haven't outgrown it yet
im 6'1 and 160 pounds, i started on a ninja 650 last autumn, if you have the discipline to not whiskey throttle a bike, then parallel twins in the 600 range are ok as starters also.
